Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking” is one of the largest wine and spirits producing companies in Georgia and Caucasus region. Established in 2001, KTW produces wine, brandy, sparkling wine and chacha with traditional Georgian techniques mixed with the state of art technologies. This allows company to preserve an old, unique taste of wine and create its own signature style to spread to the world.

In Georgia, bread is called puri (pronounced “poo-ree”) and is traditionally baked in a deep circular clay oven called a tone. Traditional bread, especially the long pointed bread called shotis puri, is very popular and usually served with every meal. Most streets in Georgia have at least one traditional bakery.

Yasha! Yasha! Yasha!!! Every tour provider should have a Yasha. A remarkable young man who went above and beyond what anyone could possibly expect. Very knowledgeable. Very polite. Very accommodating and flexible. And a superb driver on narrow and heavily congested roads. We tip our hat to one of the best guides we’ve ever had.

It was my first visit to Georgia and instantly I fell in love with the place. ❤️ There is so much history and culture that makes it more interesting. To top it all, Geo, out tour guide was equally fantastic. He did not just show us around for the sake of tour, but he gave us all the beautiful insights of their country. His energy from day 1 to day 5 never fader and you can see his love for his country & for what he was doing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's my 2nd time to visit Georgia - first time with my family and now an all girls trip with cousins and friends, and as always we have requested for George as our amazing tour guide. He had made our tour very memorable -- great experience at wine tasting, monastery, churches and the authentic traditional bread making as the crowd favorite! Highly recommend him as a tour guide as not only is very knowledgeable and accommodating, he is also very passionate about his country in sharing with us a lot of fun facts and information about their traditions and culture. And he is also inherently a very genuine and sincere person, which nowadays is a very rare trait. He really cares about making sure that our trip is always one for the books! Gio, once again thank you again so much for all your assistance. Can't wait for our next tour with you again!

We very much enjoyed our wine tasting experience, the visit to the monastery with breathtaking views and the breadmaking with the local breadmakers were all truly memorable. Gio is excellent as a tour guide, he shared lots of information, was very engaging, and made our tour a delightful experience!

This was our second time doing a tour with George. This was our second time in Georgia and we wanted to visit Khaketi. We were picked up by our tour guide David and driver George. We visited delightful wineries, went to the city of love and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. We tried the traditional cheese and bread and had the most exquisite lunch in Sighnagui. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable regarding history and cuisine. We had a lovely time and next time we visit Georgia will for sure organize a tour with them again.

This is our second tour with George's company. We joined the Kazbegi tour the previous day, and were lucky to be able to have the same driver (George's father) and guide (singer George) for the Kakheti region winery tour. We visited the KTW wine factory first, and tasted many different kinds of wines straight from the barrel. The quality and the variety of the wine are impressive. Then we visited the Badbe Monastery, the view from the Monastery is absolutely amazing. We then had an option to either have lunch or visit more winery, and singer George managed to take us to a local winery up on the mountain with view of the Signaghi Wall. The tasting is one of the best we ever had. We then went to the Signaghi Wall and took more pictures. The return trip was once again full of laughter and singing and we couldn't wait to come back to Georgia for another tour with George.
