From Amsterdam, meet your guide to drive to Zaanse Schans, a small village full of windmills, traditional crafts and green wooden houses. Here, you will visit a clog demonstration, a cheese farm for an explanation and to taste some cheese and a working Industrial windmill. After your guided tour at Zaanse Schans, you will go to enjoy a typical Dutch lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Keukenhof Flower Gardens. Here you will find 800 variants of tulips in blossom and you will have plenty of time to explore these gardens. Afterwards you will be brought back to Amsterdam after a full day of excitement.

5.00Rae(sp?) was a great driver. We started at Zanse Schaans and she gave a wonderful informative tour. We then started heading out to Keukenhof Gardens. Unfortunately we had two flat tires on a rather busy highway. She made arrangements to get us moved to a safer location and was continually in contact with people trying to get us new transportation. After we got on our way again she really wanted us to take advantage of the lunch included in our tour. However, we decided to go straight to the gardens. She was right there at pickup time and safely returned us to our hotel. She was really exhibited grace under pressure and went above and beyond to make sure we had nothing but a positive experience. We also met a lovely Dutch lady who was kind enough to invite us into her home to use her facilities.

5.00The best part of this tour was our guide, Hans. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, accommodating and courteous. This wasn’t our first trip to these sites. We have been here before and knew what we wanted to see. The complication we had is that our ship stopped in IJmuiden but thus tour comprehended that complication and allowed us to get a lot of touring done in a short amount of time.

4.00Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about most of the tour. Lots of good info on the windmills and community around them. We were a bit late in the season on the flowers and tulips and would have liked more guidance on navigating the park and experience.

5.00We couldn't have asked for a better tour . Hans and Ingrid were excellent guides . It was a perfect day - the tulips were peaking at Keukenhof and Hans let us walk the grounds as long as we liked. Then - lunch in a small town restaurant where we had a traditional Dutch lunch- Apple pancakes? Who would have thunk it. Then onto the windmills at Zaanse Schans. We visited a Wooden Shoe shop and a Cheese vendor- got to see the artisans at work. We visited the oldest windmill in the Netherlands and learned about their inter workings . Both of the guides were so friendly and I would recommend this tour to our friends and family!

5.00This tour went beyond our expectations. Delivered everything as promised. Five star all the way. Our tour guide Bianca was delightful and informative. Itinerary was timed well to avoid crowds. The day flew by. Private is the way to go.
