This was a very fun all day tour from Port Douglas. There were 12 of us in a very comfortable mini bus. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel hotels. Our driver-guide, Chris, did a fantastic job. His knowledge and personality added to this fun-filled experience.

This was an excellent tour providing an experience of both the Scenic Railway and Sky Train. The stop over at Kuranda was just sufficient. Timely pick up & drop off from Port Douglas. Highly recommended.

This day really had a bit of everything. We started out with the train ride up the mountain; lots of interesting information and beautiful views. Our travel agent had arranged for the "gold" pass, so we had nice seats in an upgraded car along with snacks and drinks included. We spent about 90 minutes in Kuranda; lots of shops and restaurants. We ate at the Pho place and even stopped for a wine-tasting at Golden Drop (bought a couple of bottles too)! The Skyrail Tour is beautiful and not scary at all--unless you are really afraid of heights. Amazing views; we were able to see a few kangaroos as we came into the station at the bottom. The history provided along the way helped to bring things to life.

Just back from the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Tour. Our guides for the day (Chris and Bosun) were very punctual, great fun and knowledgeable. All the various stops were managed very well, basically leaving us to enjoy the experience. Both the train journey up and Skyrail down had some breathtaking moments and we had enough time allocated to explore Kuranda itself. I would not hesitate to recommend Brett’s Kuranda Tour.

Such a wonderful experience! From accommodating a schedule change due to delayed flights to the educated suggestions and guidance throughout the trip. The views and vistas were unparalleled! Highly recommend downloading the audio gude offered as it enhances understanding and appreciation of the cultre and history of the indigenous peoples. The rollicking group sing along on the way home was the perfect finish to the day!
