What To Expect
What to Expect During Your River Tubing Adventure: Your experience begins with a short 10-minute drive from La Fortuna to the Arenal River, where our friendly and professional guides will greet you. After a safety briefing and equipment check, you’ll receive your individual river tube and safety gear, including a helmet and life jacket. Once you're ready, you'll set off on a thrilling 1.5-hour ride down a scenic section of the Arenal River. Along the way, you’ll float through gentle rapids and calm pools, surrounded by lush rainforest. It's common to spot monkeys, tropical birds, and other wildlife, making this not just an adventure but a nature experience as well. Minimun two people to reserve.

5.00We had an amazing experience and enjoyed every moment of it. The perfect balance between action-packed sections and calm, peaceful moments made it truly special. During the quieter parts, we could really take in and appreciate the surrounding nature, which was absolutely beautiful. This contrast made the activity both exciting and relaxing at the same time. Highly recommended for anyone who wants adventure without missing the chance to connect with nature!

5.00We had a great time with La Fortuna Tubing! This was the only tubing we could find in La Fortuna itself. They had 1 tubing guide per family/small group, so many guides in total for the entire group, so it felt safe knowing that we were all being closely watched and helped. We saw many birds and fish, which the guides named for us (white egret, turkey vulture, etc.) The fruit at the end was also a nice touch!

5.00A highlight of our time in Fortuna! We had so much fun tubing down the river, Gerald and Jean Carlos are super experienced and made us feel like we were amongst friends the whole time. The river has some slow stretches to enjoy the scenery, and a few “light” rapids that Gerald will help you navigate safely. They are very talented and make things feel easy. Felt very safe the whole time and was so happy we did this on our last day in Fortuna. SO MUCH FUN would 100% do again.

5.00Everything was perfect!! Gerald and Carlos were excellent guides, providing so much information about the natural surroundings and wildlife!! They even spotted a sloth for us along the way! Tubing down the Arenal river was so much fun, very relaxing, and the rapids brought a little excitement as well! Then at the end, they had delicious pineapples and bananas for us! Would do this again and highly recommend to others!!
