This is an incredible experience, you truly feel like you are flying. The guides are absolutely top-notch: helpful and great at making you feel safe and comfortable. My husband is terrified of heights and wanted to cancel at the last minute. I convinced him to try, and I am so glad I did. With 12 lines, the first four are short and perfect for getting comfortable. By the time he finished those, he didn’t want to stop and was ready to go again. If you are nervous, the guides will even ride with you. Keep in mind that if you are doing the 12 line one there is a hike involved. No hiking for the 7 line one.

An exhilarating experience through the rainforest. If you love a little adventure and don’t mind walking up a lot of steps you will love this experience. You do go over 2 waterfalls and the guides were very friendly and ensured you completely understood all safety protocols. There are photographers to capture the mementos for a very reasonable price, but you can carry a small fanny pack and bring your phone to capture moments also. Pickup and drop off was very quick and convenient.

Age range 10-70, including my daughter with Down syndrome. I was the most terrified before the 1st zipline, and the guides put me at such ease — I enjoyed myself thoroughly, and our teens LOVED the experience! We had a personal guide, Brandon, for our daughter with Ds, and he did a phenomenal job encouraging her and helping her (and her twin brother) fully enjoy the experience!! We had a big group and took 4 hours, and count on a bit of a hike in the beginning.

Despite being terrified of heights, this was probably my favorite activity in La Fortuna!! I was so anxious leading up to it, but the guides were great and it felt very safe. Due to having an endoprosthetic leg, I was also very nervous about if I was going to be able to do the activity/if I would have to use my leg to stop the zip line. I worried for nothing! Ultimately the zip line either stops itself or the guides stop you (or you can help a little by pulling on the line with a special glove). There are a ton of stairs to get into the start so be sure you are prepared for that!

Wow! What a fun experience! It was so exhilarating with unbeatable, amazing views. We took about a 10 minute ride to a spot and then it was about another 10 minute walk upstairs to get to the first zip line. We did 12 zip lines (or you can do 7-seems like it just skips some good ones) which took 2.5 hours. The first 3 zip lines are smaller and to get a feel for it all. Afterwards they got higher and higher and steeper. Unreal views zipping around the jungle. It was raining a lot and was hard to see as we got higher. the rain hurt your face zooming through lol but is expected considering it’s rainy season (nov). Most of them were fine though. A lot of tour guides came and went on zip with us on some depending on weight/steepness. They were very efficient and quick with the process. There was also a cute dog that followed us around and would pop in and out of the zip line areas. He’s just a local pup hanging out! Truly a wonderful time- we all had Soo much fun!!
