Arenal Hanging Bridges
9 high and very long bridges connected by 2 miles of trails taking you through the lush jungle while getting you close to the animal rich tree canopy with the mighty Arenal volcano on the background.
Mirador El Silencio
On this part of the tour you get very close to the mighty Arenal volcano. We start our hike at a wall of lava rocks left there by the 1968 mega eruption. From this point you go up the stairs and trails that take us over wide fields of lava. Under the shadow of the Arenal we keep climbing till we reach a panoramic viewpoint. Besides the volcano you see the Arenal lake, the surrounding jungle and the northern lowlands. Hiking down we pass more tropical forest giving us a chance of seeing more wildlife.

All around great experience! We did this excursion with the whole family and could not have had a better time. Our guides Rasta & Renee and driver Cha Cha were fabulous. We were lucky to see a lot of animals and had great weather. Kudos to the Red Lava team!

Our guide Rene was awesome. He waited for us, we were a little late while getting to the pick up spot. We’re driven to the Mistico Hanging gardens, then we had some fruit. We’re driven to the Arenal volcano and then followed by a nice lunch. We then went to see the La Fortuna waterfalls. Our guide made it easy with the kids. The whole experience was great and we could cover all the stuff in a day in La Fortuna.

It’s a great experience , includes all activities you would want to do in Arenal. The hot springs at end of the trip is so worth it

This excursion was so much fun and probably my favorite out of my whole trip! Our tour guide Roney was so nice, fun and informative on all of the Costa Rican facts! William was a great driver also. They took care of us and even went out of their way to drop us off closer to our pickup point! Roney was great at finding the wildlife and helping us capture them in our phones, and the whole trip went smoothly going from one place to the next. I felt like we had a decent amount of time at each place, and ending in the hot springs was perfect. Thank you William and Roney for your great care and an amazing excursion experience!

It was a long day but well worth it to see so many places you want to hit while you are in the rainforest

Great day along all the highlights of la Fortuna. Our guide Rasta really made a party of it. Especially the waterfall and the national park for spotting animals are worth visiting. The hikes are hard though: lots of stairs and climbing up. Nevertheless, really recommended to do.

A very fun experience! Carlos was very knowledgeable and pointed out a bunch of animals to us that we’d never seen without his keen eye. We enjoyed an amazing lunch! William was an amazing driver , driving us to all our points. This was an incredible all day experience!
