Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal, is a city you can't miss! This full-day tour takes you through Lisbon's iconic, history-filled monuments.
Crossing the iconic 25th April Bridge, we will arrive in Lisbon to begin our exploration of the city’s most emblematic monuments related to the great Portuguese discoveries. Visit the Belém Tower, the stunning Jerónimos Monastery, known as the “jewel” of the Manueline style, and the Monument of the Portuguese Discoveries. (Entrances are not included).
Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour through the riverside area to the vibrant city centre. In the city centre you can visit the typical Alfama neighbourhood, the Castle of São Jorge (Entrance is not included), and explore Lisbon’s charm on foot, immersing yourself in its rich history. You will also have free time to shop or explore the town by your own.
On our return to the Algarve, we will cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge, Europe’s longest bridge, offering stunning views along the way.

No visit to Portugal is completed without seeing Lisbon. Admire the unique view of Lisbon while crossing the 25th April suspension bridge spanning Tagus River.

4.00Very early start from Albufeira. Stressed because we had to get a taxi to our pick up point which seemed a bit far from our hotel and quite isolated in the dark, even our taxi driver was a bit confused when I showed him the map. However, bus arrived on time which was a relief to us as were the only people around! After a comfortable 3 hour journey with a stop, we arrived in stunning Lisbon. Bus took us to main sites for photos etc then to the main square where we had 3 hours free time to wander around, have lunch etc. Lisbon is such a beautiful city. We felt we saw what we needed to see and would definitely like to return for longer. Thanks to our fabulous guide, Montinque (sorry if wrong) and friendly driver, Antonio.

5.00It was perfectly organized. Pick-up and start of the excursion went smoothly. Many explanations by a (also) German speaking tour guide. There were enough breaks on the three-hour round trip. The tour could have gone even longer for us. All in all we are very satisfied, it was a great day. Thank you for this great experience, it was worth every penny.

3.00pros: - very well organized; the schedule ran to the minute - both guide and driver were excellent - a great way to squeeze in a trip to Lisboa when staying in the Algarve - nice cafe breaks to and from the destination, to stretch, grab a snack and visit W.C. cons: - depending on your pick up point, be prepared for a lot of time in busses, but this is only because of the distance of the trip - this trip was full and we were placed at the back of the bus, where the seats themselves do not recline, but the row in front does, leaving little comfort or space for over 8 hours in a bus. As well, we could not hear our guide from back there so we missed out on a lot of good information. This simply should not have happened as the trip advertises a 45 person maximum, and the bus was packed full at 59. I believe this would be false advertising and thus illegal. If I knew beforehand these circumstances I would have made alternate plans.

1.00Prompt pick up by efficient private bus taken to the coach . Very little info about the day no add ons like a boat trip ,fast track entry to sights ,food recommendations little shortcuts/ hacks/ discounts etc . Left to fend for oneself no "you can look around yourself or come with me " . We had 3hrs to kill unescorted so did the tour bus 24 euros each . Learnt loads in 2 hrs far more than we did in 8 hours with Anna. Sullen and not knowing loads of questions asked . Personally I would avoid . Catch the bus / train to lisbon and do a sightseeing city bus . Home quicker too not a hour tour of the hotels of the algarve

4.00I love that there were pick up points close to most hotels in the region. The tour operator was helpful in asking for my hotel. The trip was really nice, with Ana giving context about the different areas of the country as we progressed on the journey. While I appreciate there was a stop for comfort breaks, I wish there was a toilet on the large coach. Most coaches that size tend to come with a toilet. Information was announced in Portuguese, German and English, which is great. At times, I felt like I was lost amidst the switches. A long day no doubt, but well worth it.

5.00Ana was a wonderful tour guide and made our day very enjoyable. Lisbon was well worth seeing but will probably go back next year as one day isn’t enough. Ana also was very helpful with some questions I had about other tours.
