Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood
The traditional style of life that was prevalent in Dubai from the mid 19th century till the 1970s is reflected at Al-Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, where buildings with high air towers (Barjeel), built with traditional building materials such as stone, gypsum, teak, sandal wood, fronds and palm wood are aligned side by side, separated by alleys, pathways and public squares, which give the district a natural and beautiful diversity.
Dubai Museum & Al Fahidi Fort
The oldest building in Dubai since 1780s standing tall as it was built as a fortress. The center of politics in Old days.

The Dubai Old Town Street Food Tour was amazing! Our friendly guide shared local stories as we explored Al Fahidi and Deira, tasting shawarma, Arabic bread, and sweet luqaimat. A highlight was dining at a cozy traditional restaurant with rich Emirati flavors and Arabic coffee. A perfect mix of culture, flavor, and history—highly recommended!

I need to start by saying our guide was very knowledgeable and informative of the history of old Dubai. If this was a history tour I would give great reviews. Being this was a food tour, we expected to be treated to the better food options and restaurants/food booths in Old Dubai. Where we were taken was gross. The restaurants were dirty and the food well below average. Quite disgusting really. I do not recommend this at all for the price paid. You can easily go to the meeting point of the Arabian Tea House (which was lovely inside and the food and ambience looked A+,, buy yourself a lovely lunch, then walk around old Dubai your self.
