Cathedrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Lyon
We will talk about the construction of Lyon as Lugdunum, the capital of the Gauls during the Roman Empire. I will present the history of the basilica of Fourvière, and then we will discover the inside of the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
Vieux Lyon
We will discover the beautiful old town of Lyon, mainly built during the Renaissance. I will share some hidden secrets about the city, and of course, we will go through several passageways, known as the 'Traboules'!

5.00We had a very pleasant, informative walk around the old town finding the hidden passageways and hearing the history of Lyon. We even headed to the other side of the river which again brought us to some beautiful areas that we hadn’t known about before the tour. The host was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Allow an extra 45 minutes if you have made a booking for dinner as we had to leave the walk 20 minutes before it ended.
