After comparing the drinks, choose the matcha you like best and make matcha by yourself. ①Gather at the place of experience. ②Enjoy the welcome drink. While having welcome drink, we explain about matcha's history and production that you enjoy today. ③Comparison of matcha. We serve 8 types of matcha. 6 of them are ceremonial grade, 2 are not defined as matcha but are sold as matcha around the world. After you look at the color of matcha, we will make tea and serve it, so please enjoy the color, fragrance, and taste. ④Matcha making experience. Choose the matcha you like best from the ones you tried and make matcha by yourself. Finally, make Ousucha (matcha) using a bamboo tea whisk. If you love matcha then you will definitely love this experience. However, even if you're undecided about matcha this is a great way to not only explore the different types and flavour profiles, but to also understand more about it's history and the process of making matcha- from planting all the way to brewing. You will get to sample so many types of matcha that this experience is definitely value for money. Chisei is extremely knowledgeable about all things matcha and made learning about it interesting. I'm not a matcha lover but I still really enjoyed this experience.

It was very fun to learn about green tea from planting to tea cup from an actual tea farmer. I would recommend this class to anyone that enjoys tea. Sampling all the different types of matcha was very unique and fun, and learning the correct technique to make matcha was a great experience. The tea cookies were a delicious treat too!

This was a lovely experience at a tea bar with Chisei, Rina, and their crew. I was so surprised by all of the matcha as it was quite different than the ones available in western stores. You will also notice major differences between each example you drink. While Chisei will explain to you everything you need to know about green tea and matcha, if you are curious, please do ask more questions, as I did. Chisei is extremely knowledgeable and still very involved in the world of tea. You will not be disappointed. We ended up talking tea for a while after the tasting. Great, passionate people who love what they do. You can enjoy Tokyo for the lights, sights and sounds - but its soul is in the food, the drink and the people you share these with.
