We really enjoyed our experience going up Mauna Kea to see the sunset and the stars. It was very very cold, but they had parkas and gloves and hot chocolate and tea for us. Our guide Jess was wonderful, so knowledgeable and so super friendly. My son had mild altitude sickness, but it was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we are glad that we did it with this tour.

This was a bucket list experience. Well planned by the operator (Rod) who are very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time and will be the highlight of our trip. Only wish we planned more for the cold, because it is very cold for a long time.
