1.00We booked with Viatour to see the Penguins at Philips Is. over a week in advance. We waited for our bus today and when it did not show up, we contacted viatour who simply gave us the phone number of the tour company. We called the tour company and they informed us that they were not running the tour that day because they did not have enough people booked and that they did not accept Viator's booking we had made. However, Vitator did not inform us of this and instead simply took our money. When I contacted Viatour afterwards and asked for compensation, they simply refunded our money and after I complained said they could offer us a 5% discount. I told them they literally had ruined our entire day and there would be no other opportunity for us to see the Penguins. That is was an insult to offer such a minor compensation when they clearly made a mistake by not telling us our booking was void as the they tour was not going. Furthermore, they issued us a full refund literally 20 minutes after the tour time of Noon, as they clearly knew ahead of time there was going to be a problem. I was told contact Head Office and there was nothing more she could do and she end of the chat. Horrendous disdain for their customers.

4.00We went December 31 and it was freezing. Bring a coat! Good tour. Jeremy worked hard but a bit of a language barrier. Saw cool things. Enjoyed the zoo stop the most. Koalas Kangaroos and more!
