After booking the 3 day trip rather than organizing our own itinerary we weren’t sure how well it would go however we thoroughly enjoyed this 3 day tour with our guide Janet (J-Dawg) travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide. From the start it was well organised at pick-up and once on our way we were given an overview of what to expect on the tour, however what we ended up seeing, experiencing and the little extras that weren't on the itinerary the Janet managed to fit in were above and beyond what we expected. We would have never have known half of the places we went to and would have joined the dozens of people by the side of the road gathered around a tree with one koala in - because of Janet we got to experience wandering around part of the national park spotting koalas all over the place without huge crowds vying for photos I can’t go through all of the good stuff but I’ll add that the multi-aged, multi-nationality group were amazing and friendly, funny and really comfortable to be around, all helped by Janet’s enthusiasm for what she does. Thanks Janet and the group for a highlight to our Australia tour.

We loved all the sites the tour offered over the 3 days. The BBQ dinner provided on the 2nd night was lacking. I expected something better than hotdogs, white bread, and a couple deli salads. If it’s not possible with the budget, then perhaps let everyone purchase their own dinner the 2nd night.

My husband and I recently joined the 3-day Great Ocean Road tour from Melbourne to Adelaide with the BEST guide, Janet (J-Dog)!! We had a fantastic time! Set a record for the most koalas in one day (34) and throughly enjoyed every minute! Even when the bus had an issue, J-dog handled it in stride and keep everyone safe and cheery until we got back on the road. Her stories and songs and general upbeat attitude really made the trip all it could be! So glad we did this trip! Note: lodging is 2-star or hostel as stated in the description. Clean, and totally fine for short stay. I would highly recommend this trip! And if possible, ask for J-Dog as your guide.

This tour with Jordan our tourguide was amazing! He made us feel like one big family. We have seen so much. First day the Great Ocean Road. Amazing views and lots of opportunities to walk around and make pictures. First night in a Motel in Warrnambol with shared rooms. There where mainly younger solo travellers in this group (Backpackers 18-30 y/o) but also some solo travellers more aged (40+). But even because of that we were a big team! The second night we stayed in a hostel and had a great BBQ all together. Some people helped preparing the food, others grilled the meat and others did the dishes. Great teamwork, good talks and amazing food! (Meat, vegetarian, vegan). On the bus Jordan told us so much about the native animals and plants. And you could ask every question to him! Great work Jordan! He made sure we were all feeling okay and that we were safe. Besides that he also gave a clear itinary for every day, so we knew what to expect. The itinery throughout the 3 days was very diverse. From hiking, to lookouts and brekkie together. I made great friendships with other travellers. I would highly recommend this 3 day tour if you are a solo traveller looking for other travellers to meet and to see lots of amazing the things that Australia has to offer.
