This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out or are short on time. We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge.
We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way.
Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more.
After the Wildlife Cruise, we enjoy morning tea with Lamingtons and tea/coffee.
Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest.
What a memorable way to spend your morning!

We absolutely loved our tour with Cam. We were the only tour company to head out that day due to the weather and we are so glad we did! Cam was incredibly knowledgeable and despite a change in itinerary we still had an amazing time learning about the Daintree and even meeting a couple of crocs on the river! Can highly recommend this tour and this company. Thanks, Cam!

Had a wonderful time. Our guide Matt was terrific, cordial and informative. He kept things moving and provided a special experience. The tour itself had a wonderful itinerary and covered a lot of ground without being strenuous. Definitely recommend it.

Peer our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us plenty of information on route. Lucky to see 2 crocs on the river, before going to Mossman gorge for a dip in the spring water. Lovely tour - thoroughly enjoyed and the weather was on our side!

The guides were very knowledgeable and it was a great way to cover off some croc spotting and the Daintree in a short period of time. Lovely watering hole for a swin.

Great tour & good value for money. Our guide Daniel was excellent, friendly, approachable and very knowledgable. The Daintree river cruise was good and we saw several crocs as well as birds. The skipper was very informative. Then to the Mossman Gorge, as it was school holidays it was extremely busy buy Daniel took us to a deserted place to swim which was fantastic and made the experience all the more special. Would recommend this trip and big thanks to Daniel. It you really want to immerse yourself in the rainforest go for a full day trip, we would have loved to have spent longer.

Such a great morning with a fabulous guide! It was amazing seeing the Daintree River, finding a couple of baby crocs and a tree snake, and then walking through the beautiful Mossman Gorge. It was too cool for the big crocs to be out of the water but that was okay and not in anyone’s control. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great time on the half day Daintree tour and river cruise. Our tour guide Daniel was terrific 🙂 He was very enthusiastic, professional and very knowledgeable. We were incredibly lucky to see so many crocodiles on the river cruise before heading to the Daintree Forest. Daniel was very keen on finding a Boyd's Forest Dragon during our tour and my husband managed to spot one which made his day (and ours). Mossman Gorge was amazing and the water so fresh and clear. Would highly recommend doing this half day tour and if you're lucky, you'll get Daniel as your guide - just be prepared for some cheesy jokes though 😉
