This tour was fantastic. Many of the reviews stated that it was just a bus trip to these sites and back, but this didn’t seem to be true for our trip at all. Our tour involved so much more than just a bus ride! We had a wonderful tour guide (Stella/Mijeong) who walked us around and provided us in depth information at every place we went to at Naksansa and even when we got to Mt Seorak (before guests had free time to either hike or go up the cable car) Stella gave us in depth information about the area. She was warm and friendly, and the tour was well organised. Stella made the day a wonderful experience for us all

I greatly enjoyed my day trip to Mount Seorak and Naksansa Temple. The Meeting Point was easy to find and our tour guide Mr. Han already contacted us the day prior to give us detailed explanations on how to reach the pick up location. He also provided interesting facts about the places we visited and since there was a long traffic jam to the parking lot at Mount Seorak (peak season) he got off the bus with us early and guided us to the entrance on foot. The bus driver was also very friendly and due to the delay we had from earlier in the day he made sure to drive a little faster to make sure we don’t arrive back in Seoul too late. I highly recommend this day trip for everyone who wants to spend a day in nature, especially during fall foliage season.

The guide was good and friendly. The itinerary changed, but we were not notified. Naksan was removed

Our experience would have great if it was not raining that day. It was raining the whole time we were there and so we were not able to see or do much except see the Buddha and the Biseondae Rock. One great thing that came out of the tour was that we meet some wonderful people during the trip.

Beautiful day even in the rain. Comfortable and appreciable bus as the journey is a bit long.

The park itself is a nice destination and worth the 2,5 hour drive there. You can't see all the park has to offer in the time you are there, but still it was worth it.

We enjoyed the day. An experience of a special kind. Tour guide very friendly and competent. Nature is impressive. Very nice people everywhere, whether in the restaurant or in the restroom.

Mt Seorak is very picturesque and you will do a lot of.hiking. Naksana Temple is average and not really worth seeing. If you have mobility issues I wouldn't recommend this trip, as you'll be hiking up tracks and it's quite strenuous. There is also no walking AIDS available to reach the viewing points.

Enjoyable trip! We booked this because it is one of the few tour providers that includes both sites (Naksansa is ~30 min from Mt. Seorak, so it's a natural pairing). +If you are doing Korean Heritage Passport like us, this is a good way to get 2 stamps (Sinhenguesa Temple & Naksansa Temple). Some recommendations: There is a 20 min stop at a restaurant stop on the way there and back, brief enough for restroom and maybe a snack if you're feeling hungry; they will ask you to finish food off the bus to avoid disturbing other customers with smells so beware to buy something fast. At first stop at Mt Seorak, you will have your choice of activities (will have from about 11a-3p of free time). We chose the cable car and decided to go both up to the rock formations, and also down to the 800 year old tree. Doable for my parent who is in her 60s. Then had leisurely snack at the cable car restaurant at the top, before heading back down to explore Sinhenguesa Temple and then dessert at the store focused on honey-based treats (very delicious). Plenty of time that way. I think we could have ended this part at 2:30pm or 3pm but the tour guide extended to 3:30pm as others were trying some longer hikes. Would probably be very gorgeous in the fall -- still pretty in this mid September period but very hot; should have used my fan to beat the heat earlier. Afterwards we went to Naksansa which felt a bit rushed because of the extended time at Mt Seorak, but still enjoyable. Naksansa was probably my favorite given the beautiful ocean surroundings. Got back to Seoul around 8pm, so be careful to look up restaurants that arent closed if you need dinner (or use rest stop on way back). Joon was our guide. Would recommend this trip if you're looking for a fun daytrip outside of Seoul to see some beautiful natural sights with minor hiking & temples.

Good way to see the country without driving. Convenient as well. Guide David was nice and v helpful especially to my elderly mum. We took the cable car at Mt Soerak to enjoy the view while others hike. The naksansa temple is tough for elderly mum. Luckily there is a coffee house for her to rest.
