Lake Ashinoko
Lake Ashinoko, also known as Ashinoko Lake or Lake Ashi, is a scenic and iconic lake located in the Hakone. known for its stunning natural beauty and historical significance. Lake Ashinoko is situated in the Hakone area, nestled within the Hakone Caldera, which was formed by volcanic activity. It offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji on clear days. One of the popular activities at Lake Ashinoko is taking a boat ride on the lake. Sightseeing cruises, including traditional wooden pirate ships, offer visitors a unique perspective of the lake's beauty and surrounding landscapes. Onsen (Hot Springs): The Hakone area is famous for its natural hot springs (onsen), and several lakeside resorts and ryokans offer relaxing hot spring baths with beautiful lake views.

5.00Don’t be fooled by other tours, this was hands down a great tour. Glad we went with a smaller private tour for the family. Very understanding all around, took the time to make sure to capture all the moments and have all the right experiences in Hakone!

5.00Everything was as expected for a company ranked #1 on Trip Advisor. Communication was excellent, guide Vohra was punctual, very friendly and very prepared for our day. The vehicle was clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. We saved a lot of time and money with Vohra’s vast experience of the Hakone area and its attractions. We visited the Hakone shrine and ropeway, rode the pirate ship across lake Ashi and also went to the Skywalk. The pictures and videos he took and sent to us were fantastic. I give Welcome Japan Tours my highest recommendation and will not hesitate to book them again next time we are in Japan.

5.00We had such a fun day in Hakone! Our driver doubled up as a guide and gave us a tour that included Hakone shrine before crowds, Mishima Skywalk, Hakone Pirate Ship, Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani and the Hakone Open Air Museum. A special bonus: our driver was super nice and even made videos and pictures of our family. We really recommend them - Welcome to Japan tours.

5.00We spent a full day under the gracious care of Vohra. He arrived early for our 0730 pickup. We were safely and comfortably guided on this 10 hour trip through the Hakone region. I traveled with my husband and 2 children, ages 12 and 15. Vohra knew the back roads and used his privileges to save us time while driving and queuing at popular spots. He had a good eye for capturing photos and videos of my family as we explored and experienced the natural beauty of Japan's Hakone region. This was such a gift. The itinerary was very doable for a full day trip from Tokyo. Highlight for me, and my children, was the Hakone Open Air Museum- beautiful art, set on the stage of Japan's gorgeous mountain side. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had a private tour with May and Joan( not sure if spelling is correct) driver. We went up on the volcano via gandola and then saw the beautiful Mt. Fuji, clear as day. May was so professional, buying us local snacks so we could try different foods. He was humorous and very knowledgeable. He brought us to an open air museum that was not on the itinerary and it was amazing. We had an incident where we could not find restaurants that would take credit cards and he offered to pay for our lunch with his cash. He was so generous and kind. Would definitely recommend him as a private tour guide!!!

5.00Diwan is an excellent guide with lot of knowledge about tour destinations, Japanese history. Tour experience was family friendly. Along with breath taking views ride was fun filled. Even lunch locations were chosen wisely. Highly recommend him. Fluent in Japanese, English, Hindi and Gujarati so tour was enjoyable.
