Had a great experience using Viator and Mubus for this booking. The tour guides contacted us very well in advance. Gave a detailed information on the significance and importance of The Great Wall of China. The country side lunch was also good. Enjoyed the e2e experience from booking to visit and departure Special thanks to Mike and Helly one of the best tour guides.
Our tour guide, Taka, was great. He took us through a private section of the wall with complete silence and tranquility

There were only 7 of us. We were worried we wouldn’t be able to appreciate the wall with the large crowd we expected

Michael and John were great guides. I was told some informative information about the Great Wall before arriving. The group had been given enough time to climb both the western and eastern side of the Mutianyu wall. I opted for lunch which was a great option as it included a local and western buffet. The tickets included entry to the wall, tickets for the cable car/toboggan were seperate and were not inclusive. I was able to purchase souvenirs from the official mubus shop near the wall. Overall great and memorable experience.

The tour guide, Jily, was easy to find and understand, they were all friendly to us and were enthusiastic about what they were doing. Everything at the great wall itself went well, was easy to follow and the experience itself is just breathtaking. Definitely a worthy experience.

I booked the 5k hiking option and man am I ever grateful I did. My guide Taka Kuang was amazing and took me through a passage that only locals go. I got to see views others can’t. It’s indescribable how it feels to be up there all by yourself with the scenery. Taka has been the best guide I’ve had in China as he was very friendly and so informative!
