5.00A fabulous day at the Terracotta Warriors, where we visited all three pits. We met Chelsea our wonderful guide at the Bell Tower Hotel and en route she shared the history of the warrior army that surrounds the Emperor’s Mausoleum. The whole trip was well organised with sufficient freedom and useful information. The pits were stunning, I wish I had not done quite so much homework so that there were more surprises, but the trip was excellent value for money. Our second MuBus tour in China and I can’t recommend them enough! We finished our tour with a fabulous lunch where I enjoyed sweet and sour chicken before the bus ride back to Xian. Next stop Chengdu pandas.
