What To Expect
Golden Gate Bridge
The tour departs at 07:40 AM, 10:40 AM, or 01:40 PM (depending on the selected option) from Union Square or Fisherman’s Wharf (depending on your departure time). For the bus tour, a comfortable bus will transport you across the famous Golden Gate Bridge and head towards Muir Woods. For the bike tour, you will start from Bay City Bike Store at 2661 Taylor St, San Francisco, CA 94133, where you'll receive your bike and begin your journey towards the bridge. After crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, you'll have the opportunity to stop for photos at the Golden Gate North Vista Point. This viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the stunning San Francisco skyline
Muir Woods National Monument
After departure, the bus will take you directly to Muir Woods National Monument, where you will have 90 minutes to explore the ancient redwood forest. You will enjoy a peaceful walk through the towering redwoods, taking in the serene beauty of the park. The Bike Tour does not visit Muir Woods first. Instead, Sausalito is visited first, followed by a bus ride to Muir Woods. Step into a magical forest of towering Giant Redwoods (Sequoia Sempervirens) that have stood for centuries. Take in the serene beauty of the ancient trees as you walk along the trails, enjoying 90 minutes to immerse yourself in the tranquility of this national treasure.

4.00Muir woods is stunning! We had such a lovely time, it’s a really magical place and worth the journey out. The driver was really knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to make the most of our time at Muir woods. The bus however was incredibly hot, despite the fact it wasn’t particularly warm outside. If you have a fan, bring it.

2.001. The AC in the coach never worked throught 5:30 hrs.. it was very uncomfortable on a sunny summer day. 2. No water was provided during the trip, inspite of the hot conditions inside the coach. 3. You should have a dedicated guide for such group tours to explain the history & the botanics of the forest. 4. Entry tickets were the only thing which was included in the tour.. even Trail guide had to be bought. 5. Overcharged trip

5.00Great tour! Joe was very informative and funny. He was a safe and able driver even on the very windy roads to Muir Woods. We started on a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and to a nearby park where we could quickly grab some photos. Then it was off to Muir Woods for 90 minutes of free time. The redwoods are spectacular. Then we headed to Sausalito for a little more than a hour visit there. That was plenty of time to grab a nice lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
