5.00An easy trip to the woods from SF. Plenty of time to explore and enjoy Muir Woods. (90 min is the max tour buses can stay, and truly, it’s all we needed)

5.00Pick up was prompt and on time. Joe was a great driver and gave us details and history...with the perfect amount of talking while we took in the sights. We appreciated the stop to take pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge - it was the perfect amount of time. Muir Woods was beautiful and we enjoyed our hike (we did the more advanced trail, which was elevated and gave a great vantage point along our route). Perfect amount of time to spend there too. From the Woods to Saucilito, we wandered through the street and shops and opted to take the Ferry back to the Wharf. Glad we did. Great views and even though it was windy and cool, we still stayed outside to get the full effect of being on the water near the city and the bridge.

4.00I had a nice time at Muir woods and Sausalito. I took off one star because when I got to the pick up point there was no where to check in. I saw the bus and got on but the driver wasn’t there, so I asked others to see if that was the right tour. When the driver got on, he didn’t check to see who was on the bus we just drove off to the next pick up point and then someone came to check us in before letting others on board. I thought this was a bit weird. Otherwise a great afternoon, great driving and guide from the driver. I would’ve appreciated more time at Muir woods so I wouldn’t have to walk around so fast and more time in Sausalito too. I don’t think 1 hour is enough to eat in Sausalito and also walk around. That being said, I’m still happy with the experience I had.

2.00It is too costly for a 2 to 3 hour tour. Red woods only 1.30 hours time and a small journey, I felt it is not worth.
