  The staff on the ship never received the information that my partner and I are both vegan. Because of this no vegan meals had been prepared. The biking information clearly stated that both vegetarian and vegan food options were available. This is the only reason we chose this river cruise over the other available. The staff tried to do what they could but a salad and fruit simply did not meet what was expected and left for a unsatisfied experience. That felt very poor value for money.

  Service was great and the views iconic. Food was tasty but for the price it cost to go I expected more than a rather small charcuterie board as one of the “courses” and an “Olive Garden quality” salad for the second. The other 3 courses were - (3) ravioli or shrimp, a good size steak, and a mostly thawed cake slice.

  The Dining Cruise experience was nice as far as the concept. I enjoyed the food and scenery very much, however, we there was some flaws which made me give this experience 2 stars. 1) The waitress was very nice and attentive which helped the rating greatly. The waitress asked if there was any allergies she should be made aware of, at which point my husband stated, no dairy products please. She quickly took note and went through the 5 course meal and offered the options of non-dairy products. While enjoying the scenery and cruise, the food runners brought over the Caesar salad which contained some grated cheese. We didn't notice because we were having a conversation and enjoying the views. Halfway through the salad I mentioned to my husband, "is that cheese?". Unfortunately, he had already eaten it and there wasn't much one can do. We mentioned it to the waitress which she was very apologetic and brought another salad without cheese, which of course we respectfully declined. Thankfully it wasn't a life threatening allergy, but my husband was definitely having stomach issues the rest of the night. We continued to try to enjoy what was rest of the cruise. 2) It was time for the main course. We both ordered the Salmon, which was amazing. We both enjoyed the Salmon very much and no complaints there. Because it was a 5 course meal, of course we couldn't finish the whole plate. We then asked the waitress if there was to-go containers. The waitress stated there was no to-go containers and apparently she spoke to her higher ups which also stated they couldn't do anything about it. I told her that's very unfortunate, given it's a 5 course meal, they can't expect everyone to finish their food. We were so sad having to trash more than half of the delicious salmon platter. This bummed us out very much, especially after paying the amount of money we paid for with no resolution. These two unfortunate incidents ruined our experience with this cruise line. The waitress was very nice and apologetic which we understood and didn't blame on her given both incidents were outside her control in a way. Also, no Manager came to speak to us or apologize for either incidents. What helped with the rating from getting a 0 was also the entertainment, "The Barnacles". They were great and cheered us up very much given it was my husband's birthday. If it wasn't for the entertainment and waitress charisma, I would've given this experience a 0. I wouldn't book this experience again.

  Went to visit New York with my wife. Had a good time overall. Great drinks from the bartender Jugo up in the VIP. The one thing I did not understand is why we were being attended and served after the people that paid for a standard ticket. We had to wait almost 30 mins after others to receive our courses. Next time I will be booking standard instead of the VIP since the band was downstairs as well.
