This was a professionally run experience, with lots learnt, so many dishes made and plenty of light-hearted fun. We got to cook in the open air but in luxury, and to taste snacks and then our meals.

Bouncing along in a mini cab through the throngs in Seminyak was just the beginning of one of the best mornings you could imagine. Our host, teacher, tour guide and chef, Komang, met us at a little market where we learnt all about the ingredients of not only Balinese cooking but also the traditional offerings placed each morning at the many thousands of temples on the island. We then headed to Warung Nia's new restaurant where he walked us through the creation of the two main sambals used as the base of much of their cooking and then helped us put together a diverse mix of nine or ten dishes. All of this was enabled by amazing pre-class preparation by his lovely helpers and his expert tuition based on years of hands-on experience. Chef Komang is a generous, knowledgeable, clever teacher with a wicked sense of humour, who captured us with his vibrant and winning personality. I really can't recommend this experience more highly. Just the lunch we ate, that WE had created, was worth the fee, but we all walked away fuller in so many more ways. Thank you Komang and all of your team. Oh, and the two guys behind the bar are also bloody hilarious.

We did this cooking class as a family of 5 for my sons 26th birthday. Pick up from our villa was on time and we were taken to the markets then the school. I've done lots of classes but I liked this one because the Chef made sure everyone was involved. The food was amazing and we were given a cook book of all the things we made.

This was an awesome experience! We visited the market in the morning and the chef showed us all the ingredients and talked about local customs and religious practices. We then went to the cooking school and made some delicious food. It was great!

Excellent experience and great food. Food was safe and hygienic. Chef was very knowledgeable. Only improvement could be more bottled water.

Our favourite place. If you love ribs and satays this is the go to place. So reasonably priced and the food never disappoints.
