Your tour begins early with a comfortable, air-conditioned bus ride from Ginza. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic views as you travel towards the mountainous region of Nikko, known for its rich history and breathtaking natural landscapes.
Upon arrival in Nikko, we enjoyed a panoramic view of the iconic Shinkyo Bridge from the bus. Painted in bright red, this sacred bridge gracefully spans the Daiya River and is one of the most photographed landmarks in the area.

The tour itself visits some very beautiful locations and Nikko is totally worth a visit. The times at some locations may be a bit short but it’s understandable since there’s multiple stops on the tour. Just be prepared to walk uphill and upstairs at the start of the tour. The main issue for me was the lack of explanation and utilization of the time spent on the bus. It’s listed as English and Spanish and it seemed that the Spanish explanations were more detailed than the English. I’ve been on other similar style tours in Mexico and the tour guide used the bus ride to the locations to explain the history and provide info and context for most of the drive to each location. I think this tour could benefit from deeper explanations of the the history and importance of the places visited.

This was an excellent tour. The bus ride to and from Nikko was comfortable and stopped at a rest area midway through the journey so people could buy refreshments and/or use the bathroom. Nikko itself was wonderful, with sufficient time at both the Yomeimon Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Waterfall to enjoy both. The tour guide, Eric, was very knowledgeable and helpful and also provided recommendations for other activities people could do in Japan during their stay.

The guides were extremely rude and rushed. I would not recommend this tour company. The guides were inexperienced and could not answer any of the questions I had. Also felt very rushed. Very disappointed in my experience

This was an amazing experience, but there is some serious walking required to access the temple, much of it uphill and up and down big stone stairs that don’t have any hand rails. This isn’t clearly outlined in the review material. The guide was personable, but needed to make the pick up site at the end of the temple tour more explicit. Waterfall and lake were lovely, authentic lunch at a local cafe. Consider your fitness levels before doing this trip.
