What To Expect
Senso-ji Temple
This is a must-see! The oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo, it’s surrounded by bustling shopping arcades and narrow streets with local stores selling all sorts of hand-made crafts and delicacies. Buff young men and game young women operate rickshaw and you’ll see plenty of folk dressed in kimono, it’s a great spot for pictures!
Akihabara
This area is very Tokyo, packed with all sorts of electronics and anime stores, game centres, and “maid cafes”, it’s something you won’t find anywhere else in the world. We could also make a stop at Mitsukoshi department store on the way down to the fish market, it’s a grand building with French and Italian marble under the skylit ceiling, it was once home to a baby elephant!

He answered all of our questions with thorough insight and even provided us with suggestions for what to do with the rest of our time in Tokyo. He was wonderful from start to finish. 5.00Had a great day with Jordan see a number of varied aspects of Tokyo from shrines, temples and gardens to speciality shopping areas and fish market. Jordan was excellent in terms of prior comms and ensuring on the day we were covering the key sights to us. Jordan gave very useful insights into Japanese culture and daily life.
