5.00Day trip to Ohrid lake and the historic town around are very beautiful place to visit. You can only see what’s possible in a day trip as hours permits you to travel back to Tirana. It’s good day out and would be very good to to find some attractions in Ebblesan or around in Albania on the way back in the package will make it even better. Marsuel is a good guide and a driver and wish him all the best as well.

5.00A very early start from Durres to beat the traffic. Once past Tirana the scenery is spectacular with high mountains, deep gorges and broad rivers. After crossing into North Macedonia the view opens out and the beautiful Lake Ohrid stretches into the distance. Ohrid is an attractive town on the lake with an old castle and interesting churches. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

2.008 people on this tour is too much when we are crammed in a van for hours together. Not to mention, the pickup order was horrendous. The 6 people staying in Tirana city got picked up first, and then we got dragged all the way to durres to pickup another couple. The Tirana groups were picked up by 7:25 but we didn’t arrive to the lake until 12:45, when it is only meant to be a 2.5 hours journey from Tirana. Our guide did not talk or give us any information during the car ride about the detour. In total, this tour ultimately took 13 hours without traffic or detours and we would not recommend selecting this tour.
