Midhope Castle
Midhope Castle is your next highlight. Unfortunately, visitors are unable to go inside the castle, but Jamie’s lovely Lallybroch home is still an essential photo opportunity for any fan of the show. Jamie’s family home, Lallybroch, is as lovely as it looks in the show.
Blackness Castle
Blackness Castle entrance included in tour price. The tough-looking castle looks like it could fend off an entire empire. And in Outlander, it impersonates Fort William.

Really loved seeing the various Outlander locations. Plus, while a full day, it was not too tiring with plenty of stops and no long drives.

I didn't go on this because of Outlander, I was just interested in seeing the countryside and it didn't disappoint. It was an easy tour with just the right amount of time at each location. You are mostly looking at ruins/empty castles but each was impressive and interesting in their own right. Rabbies Tours was fantastic. Love the small 16 pax vehicle and their drivers/guides are very engaging.

James did a marvelous job showing us around beautiful Scotland and sharing local lore and fun facts. My best friend is a huge Outlander fan and I've not seen the show, and we both had a wonderful time exploring the castles and enjoying the scenic country. We are grateful for James' expertise and patience throughout the tour!

This experience requires an in-depth knowledge of the series, and a vivid imagination. the sites/castles that are visited have all been restored to their original status, (uninhabited castles) so they don't look like they did in the series/episode.
