What To Expect
HOLA! Hi, hello! Your paragliding adventure starts now! Discover Tenerife from the sky! This activity doesn't require any previous experience. However you should be fit and able to walk and run few meters. Our expert team is going to serve you with all information and dispel any doubts. The flight duration is approx. 15-20 minutes. You're welcome to upgrade your flight time if weather conditions allow it. We pick you up from our main meeting point at the landing beach La Enramada in La Caleta, Adeje. Our team will accompany you on the way to launch site and explain step-by-step all process. Few steps forward and after a seconds you will be flying like a bird and admire from above the fantastic scenery over Adeje's coastline. In good conditions, the instructor can offer you to take the control so that you can became the pilot for the first time in your life! Your instructor will be filming the best moments and do the photos. Preparation to landing is also child's play - just follow pilot's instructions. Once you will be landed, we take time for small talk and download the videos & photos on your phone. It's time to relax, take a drink at the beach bar and enjoy your day.

Flying was an incredible experience, exploring a different perspective is always interesting. Many thanks to the wind that allowed us this time, as well to Endique, who made it happen.:)

4.00I flew with Enrique and was picked up by Karina. The flight itself was scenic and enjoyable. Enrique has over 20 years of paragliding experience, and I felt safe during the flight. However, the overall experience did not fully meet my personal expectations. For more introverted people or guests who are not interested in photos, videos, or an entertainment-focused flight, this experience may be less suitable. Despite clearly stating several times that I did not want to pose for pictures and preferred to quietly enjoy the view, I was repeatedly encouraged to do so. I was also asked to hold the paraglider myself even after expressing that I felt uncomfortable, particularly as instructions were given in English and were not always easy to understand due to the wind. After I mentioned this, Enrique took over again. Enrique came across as an experienced and capable pilot. However, I believe the experience would benefit from placing more emphasis on respecting individual guest preferences. Recommendation: I would recommend this provider mainly to people who enjoy a lively, interactive flight with a strong focus on photos and videos. Those looking for a calm and quiet experience should make this very clear in advance or consider a different provider.

5.00If you’re reading reviews and wondering whether to do this — do it. Just book it. My 14-year-old daughter and I did the 25-minute panoramic paragliding flight with Somos Paragliding yesterday, including the video and photo package, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, Karina was absolutely fabulous. She was incredibly responsive, accommodating with our preferred time and day, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. She even picked us up from our hotel, and from the moment we met her, she was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Our pilots were Enrique and Tony, and they were both outstanding. My daughter flew with Enrique, and the video and photographic footage he captured is absolutely incredible — something we’ll treasure forever. Both pilots were calm, professional, and made us feel completely safe throughout the entire experience. What made it extra special was how engaging and educational it was for my daughter. Enrique explained the physics of thermals during the flight and pointed out geological and geographical features, including the canyons, which she found fascinating. It was such a lovely bonus to have that educational element alongside the sheer joy of flying. The views were absolutely spectacular — truly breathtaking — and the whole experience was just pure enjoyment. I should mention that I’m not a thrill-seeker at all; this kind of thing is usually well outside my comfort zone. My daughter suggested it, and I went along with it — and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t feel nervous at any point, just amazed and happy to be up there. With hindsight, the only thing I would do differently is take a travel sickness or anti-nausea tablet beforehand, as I did feel a little strange at times — but that didn’t take away from how wonderful the experience was. We both had an absolutely fabulous time, felt safe throughout, and would recommend Somos Paragliding without hesitation. If you’re on the fence, stop overthinking it — this is an experience you won’t regret.

5.00I had the most incredible time paragliding! From start to finish, everything was smooth, exciting, and totally worth the money. My pilot, Tobi, was fantastic—super friendly, professional, and made me feel completely safe the whole way through. His calm guidance and great attitude really added to the experience. The flight itself was breathtaking. Floating above the landscape felt magical, and I honestly couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. If you’re thinking about trying paragliding, do it—you won’t regret it! Highly recommend, and a big thank-you to Tobi for making it unforgettable!
