This was great fun and we learned a great deal. Very interesting to watch the professionals actually make the cheese. Also met some lovely cows!! Tasted a nice variety of cheese of various ages. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic experience learning about the history and process of how parmigiano reggiano is made! We visited a small farm outside of Parma, where we got to see everything, from the cows, to the cooking of the cheese, tasting completely unaged parmigiano reggiano, how the wheels are shaped, brined, and aged! Everything was amazing! At the end we enjoyed a young and an older parmigiano reggiano, paired with balsamic vinegar from Modena, crakers from Calabria, and a local wine. 10/10 would recommend! Our only regret is not doing the prosciutto tour combo.

This tour was amazing, our tour guide Sergio was the best person ever and if I’m ever going to do a tour here again I want to make sure I have him as a tour guide. The overall facility was a small producer and was amazing to see the whole process

We missed the train from Bologna and we were not able to meet at the meeting point at 8.30. I messaged the customer support and the tour guide. They quickly replied and suggested me to go to the cheese factory to catch up the tour. We took a taxi to the factory, not very far, around Eur20. Luckily we didn’t miss too much. This tour is amazing, leant a lot about the cheese making process and of course tried some amazing cheese, 22m and 30m with wine. The tour guide took care of us well. In addition, the tour mates are very nice, talkative and very fun.

We loved visiting the small family farm and seeing the cows being fed, the cheese master at work and then tasting in the aging room. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about this unique product.
