What exactly is bioluminescence you might ask! Well, this is the capacity of some creatures to emit light and can be found in numerous forms in the Phang Nga Bay area. One of the most noteworthy instances is the bioluminescent plankton present in the bay’s waters. These tiny organisms emit a bright blue-green light when disturbed, producing a captivating appearance in the water. The phenomenon is caused by chemical reactions within the plankton, which produce light as a by-product.

5.00This was a unique experience! Walking through a cave was super cool. The bioluminescence experience was amazing. Canoeing in the lagoon was also something I will never forget. Halal food on the Muslim village was great.

5.001000/10 recommend booking this tour. We booked last minute and had an amazing time. The crew is so young, fun, lively, and friendly. They really made a huge impact on the atmosphere. Beer (if that's how you spell it) was a great guide. Spoke amazing English and taught us a lot about each place we visited. We saw glowing plankton, monkeys, birds, fish, and beautiful sights. Definitely worth the visit & money!

5.00Beautifuly organized! Not to crowded, felt a bit like exploring by ourselves. Even before the tour starts the give you tea, coffee, drinks and snacks. On the tour you have your constant choice of soft drinks, water, fruit and the dinner is delicious. Phil, our guide did an amazing job...the bioluminescence we saw in a cave as it was almost the full moon. But still I am so greatful for having finally seen it. We had one of the most magical days in Thailand, thanks to that amazing team🩵
