Arrived in the city of Pisa, our driver will take you on a short car tour where you can admire the wonderful Arno river divided by the river.
Piazza dei Cavalieri
Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa is, after Piazza del Duomo, the most famous square in the city. In ancient times it represented the center of civil power, while from the second half of the sixteenth century it became the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of Santo Stefano, commissioned by Grand Duke Cosimo I de' Medici. Today it is a pole of cultural attraction and study due to the presence of the headquarters of the Scuola Normale Superiore.

We had a wonderful experience with Claudio as our local guide. He was knowledgeable and helped us get to Pisa and navigate Cinque Terra by train. And when we ran late coming back on the train, Claudio was very communicative and got us back in time to our cruise port. Would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was AMAZING! I would definitely repeat it! My husband, my mom, my kids and I had a wonderful time. The tour made a stop at Pisa before arriving to Cinque Terre! Both places beautiful. We had good amount of time to stop at Pisa and visit three of the Villages in Cinque Terre, eat, snack, got in the water. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable, the ride was very comfortable and with A/C. The driver arrived on time for pick from our cruise and made us get back with plenty of time to get back on our cruise. Thank you Viator! I will definitely continue using you for my future trips :)

Simon was an excellent tur guide due to the fact he is from the area. We had an opportunity to truly explore and enjoy ourselves and he adjusted our itinerary based on the things that we decided we wanted to do.

We had a terrific day with Simon, he was knowledgeable and helped us navigate Cinque Terra. Utilized the trains and trails between towns. Each town was a little different and worth visiting. Simone helped us make the most of our time in Cinque Terra we could not have asked for a better day.

Francesco did an excellent job as our driver for this tour. We got off our cruise ship at Livorno about 15 minutes before our scheduled meeting time and he was already there waiting for us. His Mercedes van was well kept and had bottled water for us. His English was a little rough, but way better than my Italian and it got the job done. He took us to Knights Square in Pisa, the Leaning Tower, Porto Venere, where we had a great lunch at one of the many seaside sidewalk restaurants and then to the Cinque Terre villages of Manarola and Riomaggiore. At each stop, he dropped us off and returned at an agreed upon time to pick us up. This tour provides a driver but not a guide. Francesco provided plenty of good information, but did not accompany us into the attractions. At Cinque Terre, he could not drive us into either village due to parking restrictions and had to drop us off at the top of both. That meant we had to walk down and back up about 300 ft of elevation change at both of them.. Due to the steep climb up, if you’re not at least moderately healthy, this may not be the tour for you but I’m confident that they could modify it to address your concerns. At Riomaggiore, Francesco told us to look for a shuttle bus that we could take back up to the top, but we never saw it until it returned after we had already climbed back up. The scenery is amazing and definitely worth the hikes. Apparently, according to other reviews, some versions of this tour may involve an additional-charge train or ferry. We were not given those options and travelled by car (our preference anyway) the entire tour. Many of the roads to Cinque Terre are very narrow, steep and windy, filled with typically aggressive Italian drivers. Franscesco handled the roads well. However, if you suffer from motion sickness, be sure to come prepared. I recommend this tour as long you consider the above precautions. Total time was about 8 1/2 hours.
