A 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre, Phnom Penh Night Point of Sale is a great place to end the evening. It is located close to the Tonlé Sap River which flows into the Mekong River. There are mainly clothing stalls and food stalls to eat on site sitting on the ground in a festive atmosphere.

Overall, it was a great trip, although slightly marred by Cambodia unexpectedly closing the river border on the final leg to PP. However, our guide, 'Tri,' was excellent throughout, which we truly appreciated. While a couple of activities didn't quite capture our interest and felt like filler, the enjoyment we experienced from the others more than made up for it. The hotels exceeded our expectations and were conveniently located. Although the lunch on the first day was not impressive, the second-day lunch made up for it. Given the considerable time spent on the coach, it's advisable to bring along some entertainment to pass the time.

You might consider booking this journey as an alternative to flying directly from Cambodia to Vietnam. Over the course of three days, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich landscapes, diverse nature, and vibrant culture of the Mekong Delta region in Vietnam. While it does involve a fair amount of travel by both road and waterway, the experiences you'll encounter along the way make it incredibly worthwhile. During the trip, you'll find yourself traversing through picturesque countryside scenery, cruising along the Mekong River, and exploring charming local villages teeming with life. Despite the time spent on buses and boats, the chance to witness the beauty of the Mekong Delta and interact with its hospitable inhabitants makes every moment of travel rewarding. Furthermore, both the tour guide and accommodations provided are of high quality, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout your journey. Whether it's learning about the region's history and traditions from knowledgeable guides or relaxing in well-appointed hotels after a day of exploration, this trip offers a comprehensive and fulfilling immersion into the heart of the Mekong Delta

A wonderful trip! Hai Le (our guide) is top notch. Very professional and knowledgable. We learned a lot about the country, the history, the people, and ate wonderful food. Hai knows many good restaurants along the way and he ordered for us so by the end of the trip we had tried many local dishes. He was very accommodating to the variety of fitness levels of folks in the group - and gracious with the locals whom we stopped to chat with and learn from. Communication with Bravo could be improved by sending a packing list along with the itinerary (highly suggest padded biking shorts and gloves) as well as details upfront regarding airport pick ups etc. The trip was wonderful and just as advertised.

I have contacted the company about their Mekong delta tour from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh city, trying to avoid the middle man a book directly through them. While the Google search found many companies that facilitate the booking, there was no sight of the tour on the official site. Therefore I sent them an email about my inquiry and they sent me a link to a secret australian website where the tour was available. Sounds weird, but okay. I went ahead and asked whether it would be possible to pay for the tour in cash upon boarding, with a deposit beforehand. They said it was possible and when I went ahead with the secret Australian listing, selecting Pay cash on departure from the options. I expected a pay gate to show up, to pay for the deposit, but nothing came up. I got a confirmation in my inbox. Later the company contacted me about my passport information and I responded, as well as asked some questions about the departure (as the booking/website stated 12 AM which seems unlikely - but I thought it was an honest mistake). They responded quickly. 10 days since my initial booking have passed and suddenly I received inbox for the full price of the tour and an email that clearly stated that I need to pay the whole balance (almost 700$) withing 48 hours or my booking will be released. I responded asking them about it and the conversation turned sour real quick. I asked why they didn't contact me immediately upon receiving my booking that they require it be paid in full (because of the high demand season, as they stated) or invoiced me for the deposit during the 10 days. I obviously refused to pay the whole amount, reffering back to the booking and our previous conversation. The last email I have received from them was extremely rude and unprofessional, short of calling me poor and irresponsible, because I refused to pay all of the money. They set they would settle for 50% deposit (more than 350$) and I can pay the rest upon boarding (cash???). We've decided to forgo the tour, because it has all the tell-tale signs of a scam. I am not getting peer-pressured into spending my money on this.

While the tour involved long hours in the car, the experience was elevated by the presence of an exceptionally excellent guide. Their knowledge and insights added immense value to the journey, making the extended travel time more engaging. The scenes and landscapes encountered throughout the tour were breathtaking. From the serene beauty of the Mekong River to the picturesque surroundings along the way, the journey offered a visual feast for nature enthusiasts.

Most of the time is spent in the car (apart from the boat to Chau Doc). The advertised itinerary does not fit to the actual one. And the tour guide's English was limited unfortunately. It is not worth the money, rather take a bus to Ho Chi Minh City and do one of the Mekong day trips from there.

This operator is the worst I ever experienced: Communication per WhatsApp, very pushy and harsh in tone, sometimes even aggressive. Very unpleasant, especially on a holiday in a country you have never been to. The tour began with a rip-off: Pick up from the hotel to the pier, 4 minutes drive in a small car, 20 $ extra (more expensive than in Switzerland) - local price would have been 3 $, as they told us in the hotel before we left. Then: It‘s actually a 2 day private tour, the first day from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc you are on your own in a big boat without guide (you better book this part on your own). Accomodation in Victoria Hotels (luxury version) was very good, but we were a group of three adults and the operator wanted us to sleep in one room with extra bed… Two rooms only if we paid 100 $ extra, and after 10 minutes of unfriendly text-messaging). Most of the time you spend in the car (ca. 5 hours on the first, 4.5 on the second day). Not very much nature of the Mekong-Delta is shown, hardly any animals to be seen. No rowing on the waters like on the tour-advertising-picture f.e., that would be on extra cost too and no time for that. The only nature-experience of the tour is in a public and very touristic nature parc, mostly eucalyptus trees, not a real jungle, as said. The tour guide was very friendly though. So: better book the boat and hotels yourself and it‘s possible to book transfers and tours there. For sure it’s much better than with Bravo Indochina Tours!

The tour was a lot of fun. We saw a lot and everything was well organised. The guide could tell a lot along the way and was nice and enthusiastic. It was a pity that the guide spoke fairly poor English, which made it difficult to convey the information. The information provided prior to the tour could also be a little better. But overall had a very good tour. The guide made it something unforgettable!

A very fun private tour with guide Huy! With his enthusiasm and cheerful smile we enjoyed the Mekong Delta, beautiful hotels and varying excursions! Definitely worth it, but remember in advance that you have to get out of bed on time every morning 😉
