Highly recommend this tour! In addition to the delicious meal and bar visits, it includes a walking tour of Shinjuku which was very informative. Amy who led the tour was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We even ended up going through the crowds to see a local festival that was going on at a local shrine. Overall a good time! Thank you Amy!

My husband and I met with Risako, who was such a lovely guide. She’s very relaxed, has a deep knowledge of the local area, and we enjoyed sharing our travel stories. We really liked her restaurant recommendation, and the bar suggestions were top notch! Felt like sharing some beers with a friend.

Our tour guide Amy was awesome! Coming from an actual local herself loved trying the dishes she ordered for us and learning the history behind the bars we visited! We really enjoyed our experience and had such a fun time!

Such an amazing experience! Amy is the best tour guide. She found us a couple of different bars that had a lot of history to them which we really enjoyed learning about. The owners were super friendly and super informative about the history of their bars. Definitely recommend her for future visits and tours! Thanks amy!!!

Literal Hidden Bar Experience! I joined this bar-hopping tour with my American friends, and they absolutely loved it! I don’t usually drink much, so it’s always a bit tricky when friends say they want to check out Golden Gai. But this was the perfect experience for all of us. As a Japanese person, I first thought it was a bit unusual to start with okonomiyaki or monjayaki before bar hopping since it’s not really related to bars — but actually, it turned out great for me too (especially as someone who doesn’t drink much, haha). Our guide, Aimy, was so cheerful and fun! My friends adored her. We got to chat with bar owners, staff, and even some locals it felt so warm and authentic. I’m really glad I joined this tour and could give my friends a genuine taste of Japan’s nightlife!
