We did this tour last week with Marie and loved it. Travelling as a family of four with two teens (17 and 13) we weren't certain how interesting this would be for them, but they loved it too. The perfect blend of history and interesting information, all four of us really enjoyed our time with Marie. She was very personable, smart, and fun to talk with. She gave great recommendations for things to do and eat during the rest of our stay and she was a great driver and had a very nice, clean van that we rode in. Highly recommend this tour!

Wan was an outstanding guide, he shared lots of information with us and also was very warm and engaging throughout the entire day. I would highly recommend the DMZ private tour and asking for him to lead it. We feel we made a new friend😊.

If you come to Seoul, the DMZ day trip must not be missed. I highly recommend choosing this tour from among the many options. I was traveling with my son, who is himself a professional tour guide. Tiger, our guide for the day, is a retired South Korean military officer. He is an expert having been assigned to the DMV during his career. It was extraordinary to be able to walk the third tunnel and imagine how South Korea could have been attacked if the tunnel hadn’t been discovered in time. I peered into the North Korean side with binoculars from the Dora observatory, wondering if the North Korean soldier in his guard post was looking at me right back. We followed with the lake suspension bridge and park. I highly recommend this private tour and suggest you request Tiger as your guide. His first hand knowledge of the history and description of familial separation made our visit much more meaningful. The history is so much more vivid when you are standing beside tunnels and barbed wire with someone who has patrolled the feint line. 6 STARS

Tiger has been an amazing guide. He provided a lot of explanations and interesting details about the DMZ and Korean history. The service offered is top notch and the tour is worth it. Strongly recommend.

It was a fun and educational experience. Won did a fantastic job explaining the history of the DMZ. The tunnel visit was quite physically challenging. But it was something worth seeing. Lunch at the DMZ could be better. It’s a tourist area so expect mediocre tourist food.

My husband’s father served in the US Army during the Korean War; he has long wanted to visit the DMZ and dedicate a day to retracing a bit of what his father experienced. This was the PERFECT day. Tiger picked us up promptly at our hotel, and gave us a great history lesson during our drive north. We visited the suspension bridge, DMZ and 3rd invasion tunnel, and the observatory. He was with us every step of the way, taking great photos and continuing the fascinating dialog. As a Korean military veteran who served 20 years at the DMZ, Tiger’s insights were terrific. And as someone who has relatives in the north that haven’t been seen or heard from in decades, we felt the cruel reality of North Korea through him. We would highly recommend PLK (great communication) and especially Tiger.

This tour was incredible due to 2 main things: 1- we had no idea how interesting the tour itself would be, perhaps since there are relatively few pictures (and we couldn't take any in most DMZ areas due to current restrictions). Especially going through the 3rd tunnel was fascinating. Seeing the border and both N/S sides at the same time was sobering, such a beautiful piece of land affected by war. 2- our tour guide Tiger was THE BEST guide we've ever had, on any tour in any country!! He was in the army before the ceasefire and knew first-hand what it was like at the border. He made the entire experience come alive and was so thoughtful and reflective in way that is hard to describe. What a truly gifted guide! Thank you Tiger we will always remember you!
