It was a fun and educational experience. Won did a fantastic job explaining the history of the DMZ. The tunnel visit was quite physically challenging. But it was something worth seeing. Lunch at the DMZ could be better. It’s a tourist area so expect mediocre tourist food.

My husband’s father served in the US Army during the Korean War; he has long wanted to visit the DMZ and dedicate a day to retracing a bit of what his father experienced. This was the PERFECT day. Tiger picked us up promptly at our hotel, and gave us a great history lesson during our drive north. We visited the suspension bridge, DMZ and 3rd invasion tunnel, and the observatory. He was with us every step of the way, taking great photos and continuing the fascinating dialog. As a Korean military veteran who served 20 years at the DMZ, Tiger’s insights were terrific. And as someone who has relatives in the north that haven’t been seen or heard from in decades, we felt the cruel reality of North Korea through him. We would highly recommend PLK (great communication) and especially Tiger.

This tour was incredible due to 2 main things: 1- we had no idea how interesting the tour itself would be, perhaps since there are relatively few pictures (and we couldn't take any in most DMZ areas due to current restrictions). Especially going through the 3rd tunnel was fascinating. Seeing the border and both N/S sides at the same time was sobering, such a beautiful piece of land affected by war. 2- our tour guide Tiger was THE BEST guide we've ever had, on any tour in any country!! He was in the army before the ceasefire and knew first-hand what it was like at the border. He made the entire experience come alive and was so thoughtful and reflective in way that is hard to describe. What a truly gifted guide! Thank you Tiger we will always remember you!

I highly recommend this private tour with the tour guide Alex. My mother and I very much enjoyed it, we had a blast. He came to pick us up at our hotel and took very good care of us during the entire day. He’s knowledgeable, explained every location and the history of the events. He did his best to minimize queuing and waiting time for us, he was always helpful and making sure both my mother and I were having a good time.

Lots of history. Peace park is great. It is a beautiful place with many monuments. DMZ area visit is an great expierence, being able to see the North Korea and recognizing the 2 countries being so close in distance. Tunnel is amazing. This is not the easiest for anyone with health issues due to the walking down the tunnel and having to walk back the incline slope path. If you are more than 6' tall, you will be slouching most of the lower tunnel path approximately half of the entire tunnel length (it's worth the walk). Bridge was wonderful. It was so peaceful and picturesque. Overall great tour. Finally, our tour guide, Won, was very knowledgeable and fantastic. He shared so much history, it was very educational. He is a great tour guide. I was definitely request for him if requests can be made.

This private tour of the DMZ with Tiger was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable about the DMZ and Korea's history, as he was in the military for over 20 years, patrolling the DMZ border. As such he provided unique and insightful information that you simply cannot find on any other tour. His recounts of history and his own personal experiences were deeply moving. He was also very warm, friendly and respectful and everything on the tour went very smoothly. We would recommend him to anyone going to the DMZ. It was a highlight of our trip - Thank you Tiger!
