Thingvellir is the first stop on the tour. This is where we held parliaments for more than 1.000 years. This is where you see the 2 tectonic plates of North America and Europe move apart from each other.

I would not recommend this tour. I think others are a better price & include more to do. We had another tour booked but needed to do this one because it allowed children under 12. Lagoon tickets were not included, so on top of this price we needed to pay $180 for lagoon tickets. The tour told us to book for 5pm. Magnus, our tour guide, wanted us to leave by 6:30pm because he wanted to be done by 7pm. The ticket was for 3 hours. Why tell me to book for 5pm if you cannot do the whole time? We also didn’t go to all the sights it said it would include. We never went to the Kerid Crater.

Beautiful geologic sights on the tour capped by a relaxing soak at the Blue Lagoon. Our tour guide, Arnar, was a pleasant and knowledgeable guide and travel companion.

Wow! We had an incredible guide, Kristenn. He knew all the great pit stops in between the main attractions of the Golden Circle. We saw amazing sites and had our private car available when we needed it. We saw Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss and Blue Lagoon. We had a child and grandparents with us; went at our own pace and spent 11 hours together. We all had an unforgettable experience!! Would highly recommend and would refer to all our friends.

The driver/tour guide (John) was very knowledgeable. He was also very professional. We were not able to go to the Blue Lagoon due to time constraints, but we went to Fontana that was within the Golden Circle and it was absolutely amazing!!

Sebastian was our guide and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! He was super knowledgeable, engaging, accommodating and offered above and beyond what was on the itinerary! The day was long but we were able to see so much of Iceland, while learning about the culture! Great day was had by all of us ages 11, 15, 18 and us!

Arne and Hilmar (I'm sure I am spelling it all wrong!) picked us up at the airport and took us on a very, very long day tour. It was amazing, and they were so accommodating to insure we had an outstanding experience. Our day included a stop at a bakery for lunch and pastries (fantastic), the Golden Circle, a stop at a lake so pristine we could fill our water bottles right at the shoreline, and then to the Blue Lagoon. There was a huge traffic delay and a road closure getting there, but these lovely gentlemen patiently waited while we enjoyed the spa and then stopped at a place where we could grab something to eat before dropping us off at our hotel, making their day much longer than planned. They went above and beyond to insure we had a great time. The bus was clean and comfortable and everyone in our group cannot wait to return to Iceland. We will definitely book a trip with these jovial fellows again.

Johanna was our guide and driver for the trip. She is very friendly, easygoing, and understandable. We spent a lot of time with her, and unfortunately, we didn't get to see the northern lights.

Loved it. Great tour! Private tours are always expensive, but we got the flexibility and customization that we needed so that we could see everything we wanted on such a short Iceland visit.
