What To Expect
Pingvellir National Park
Our tour takes you to the countryside away from the city lights. Clear, cloud-free skies are an essential componant of any succesful aurora tour. We may need to try a few different locations before finding success. While you await the aurora, our guide will entertain you with tales of old Iceland and the folklore and tall tales used at the time to explain this once mysterious phenomenon.

4.00Our original booking was cancelled due to weather but went ahead the next night. Absolute chaos being checked onto the bus with about 500 other people but once we were on our way our guide was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Tried 3 sites but no luck so people were allowed to choose another night free. Driver was helpful and friendly too.

5.00Despite low cloud cover at first, our guide showed great determination, driving to multiple locations until we finally found clear skies near Vogar. We were thrilled to witness the Northern Lights at last—an unforgettable moment and a big tick off our bucket list. The tour met its objective and left us very happy! Thank you.

4.00Dedicated guide and bus driver. Great enthusiasm but service could be better - I explain below. Unfortunately it falls short of other Northern Lights tours that I've had where the guide is a scientist, cookies are served, there's a fire, and professional photography of the participants.

1.00DO JOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. After rescheduling 3x and not being able to attend I asked for a refund only to be told by bus travel I have to go to Viator then when I went to Viator bus travel have refused to give me a refund! I have to pay another £103 from another company to go on the tour. The original company were unresponsive when asking for confirmation on where to go and extremely rude they left me in tears in the phone an hung up on me. Only to follow up with a messaged telling me I could have a refund then refusing it.
A wonderful experience , viewing the northern lights !

5.00We were lucky to see the northern lights clearly, having tried and failed to see the lights in Norway, we were impressed at how amazing they were on this trip to Iceland. The coach was comfortable enough, we went to three different places. It was the last one that paid off. Hot chocolate is not nice so don’t get excited about that. Plus it’s on a tiny paper cup. Pick up with the company was ok, however one thing to bear in mind, if you get on the coach at Hilton Nordica, then your the last stop and will wait up to 30 mins past the pick up time. Plus the coach will be packed and you probably not be able to sit together.
