A valid driver's license is required to drive the snowmobile.
Snowmobiles are shared by two people. A single rider per snowmobile is possible for an additional fee.
The minimum age to join the tour is 6 years, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Only one child is allowed per adult on this tour.
Dress appropriately for the weather. In Iceland, it’s always wise to wear warm, waterproof clothing, as the weather can change rapidly.

What To Expect
Gullfoss Falls
Your adventure begins at Gullfoss Café, next to the iconic Gullfoss Waterfall—one of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. This powerful two-tiered waterfall plunges 32 meters (105 feet) into a rugged canyon and serves as the perfect backdrop to start your glacier journey. Meet your guides at the Mountaineers of Iceland sign in the parking lot, where you’ll board a specially modified Super Truck for the ride into the highlands.
From Gullfoss, your Super Truck journey takes you deep into Iceland’s rugged interior, toward the Geldingafell mountain area. The ride lasts 35–60 minutes, depending on road and weather conditions, and offers stunning views of volcanic landscapes and snow-covered plains. This off-road trek is part of the adventure, an exciting preview of the glacier experience ahead.

5.00An extemely well organised tour. All relevant warm weather gear supplied. My partner had a slight issue with safety briefings not been adhered to but after letting our main guide Edgar know things were quickly and satisfactorily sorted. Would highly recommend.

5.00Outstanding experience. Wish we got to ride more on the snowmobile. The snow was soft and powdery. You could def go fast up to 45km at one time, but you have to follow the line.

5.00Snowmobiling across a glacier is an awesome experience. It was beautiful and incredulous all at the same time. I was a little sad that we were notified a few days before that the ice cave portion of the adventure was not accessible. I was really looking forward to that. Either way…. Amazing adventure in the land of fire and ice!

3.00I don't usually write reviews, but now I think our experience is worth sharing to improve the offers! I took a family trip 2 adults + 2 children (16 y + 10 y) with snowmobiling and visiting the ice cave. You have to be very careful when booking, because it doesn't mention that you need at least 2 valid licenses! In addition, for those like me who have a more fearful wife, please ask her if she wants to drive, before making the reservation and don't get angry on the spot. The experience is sensational and the guides are very professional! But I'll be back, there were a few ladies who got scared and made it difficult to move or did it very slowly! For those who want speed and new experiences on glaciers, take a private tour! DO NOT drive the snowmobile alone, because if you have people who go slower....the whole group will go at their own pace!!!! Coming back, the experience is worth it!!! Unfortunately, the ice cave trip was canceled...they refunded us part of the money, but I think it was too little (out of 700 euros for the trip, only 100). Otherwise, the experience is worth it!!!
