Then, take your relaxation deeper with the Ritual, a unique seven-step experience that guides you through the history of Icelandic bathing culture. Over the centuries, we've developed a way to combine the healing powers of warm water, cold water, warm steam, dry heat and fresh air. Great way to start your stay in Iceland. drove directly from Airport, our second visit to the Sky Lagoon. In my opinion, much better than the Blue Lagoon. Professionally run, food option, bar in the Lagoon.

  • Lovely Relaxing afternoon

Family of 4, 3 adults and one 14 year old boy visited booking the Ser package. This included the 7-step ritual but we really chose it because it gave you individual private changing/showers rooms - I didn't want to be in a public changing room and neither did my youngest son. On arrival you are given a wrist band to access lockers and the 7-step ritual experience. It also allows you to buy any drinks etc during your stay which you pay for on departure. The individual changing room/showers are very nice and very smart Spa-like. You have to shower naked before entering the lagoon. There are an abundance of towels available during your visit. You can wear flip flops around the changing rooms but not in the lagoon. The main lagoon is lovely, very spacious (it wasn't very busy on the monday afternoon we visited), it was so warm with an infinity pool overlooking the sea - it was gorgeous and so relaxing. Definitely take your sunglasses as the sun was so bright. Some people wore hats although it wasn't very cold when we visited so I didn't bother. With the Ser package you also get access to the cold water plunge pool, gorgeous saunas which overlook the ocean, followed by the mist room, room to rub salt onto your skin, steam room, shower area then a local vitamin fruit drink to finish off. Our skin felt so good afterwards. We spent around 3 hours in total there - we didn't buy any drinks, food or products - I might have been tempted to buy the salt treatment to take home but at £100.00 for a small pot it seemed over priced on top of the £400.00 we spent on visiting the Lagoon. It was a 15 minutes drive from Reykjavik City Centre and cost approximately 5000 Icelandic Krona/£30.00 each way by Taxi. This was the best option for us versus Sky Lagoon Transfer or public bus then a walk. I've seen people negative comments about the nearby industrial estate but once inside you don't see any of this - only the ocean and landscape. It was a lovely relaxing experience and we all enjoyed it. My sons was one of just a few teenagers visiting. I imagine it would be lovely at sunset. We were blessed with the weather, it was bright and not too cold. Not something we'd do on a regular basis but we were visiting Iceland for the first time to celebrate our son's 21st birthday so it was a nice treat.

  • Fantastic experience. But expensive admin charge to change time.

Fantastic experience. Spa was amazing. However £25 to change the day is crazy. Wish I’d just cancelled and rebooked.

Been to Sky Lagoon twice now and done the Sér package both times, definitely worth it. You get private changing rooms, which makes the whole experience feel much more relaxed, plus showers and towels available throughout. When you arrive, you’re given a wristband that works as your locker key and also as a wallet, so you can grab drinks from the bar inside the lagoon without worrying about carrying anything around. Everything is very clean and well organised, and the setting is brilliant. Being right on the edge makes the views amazing and really adds to the experience. The ritual is absolutely worth doing too, going from the cold plunge into the sauna is intense but so good, and something you really remember afterwards. The only downside is that at times there can be quite a few influencers around trying to film content, which can be a bit annoying, but it’s hard to avoid at a place like this. Overall though, it’s a great experience and one I’d definitely recommend.

Was an amazing experience, overlooking Iceland’s natural beauty. The seven steps ritual was definitely refreshing. The pool bar was a nice added touch. Would really recommmend visiting if you get the chance. If you are staying in Reykjavík its advised to take a short taxi 15 mins max, as the bus alternative requires two journeys and is a lot longer.

  • Sky Lagoon v Blue Lagoon

This was our first time in Iceland and deciding on which lagoon to explore was difficult as there are so many to choose from. We did the Blue Lagoon upon arrival as our flight was very early and it was a great way to start our vacation since we could not check in to our hotel and the Sky Lagoon doesn't open until 10am. The Blue Lagoon was nice but the Sky Lagoon which we did a few days later was amazing. I was not sure what to expect with the 7-step ritual but it ended up being a highlight of the experience. Take your time and soak it all in and don't skip the cold plunge! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We highly recommend making the Sky Lagoon part of your Iceland adventure.
