  Excellent tour with very comfortable transportation. The wall was amazing and as it was winter time it was not too busy. The stop at the Jade factory was interesting but the sales assistant followed my wife around the store with quite heavy sales pressure which was unwelcome. The tea ceremony was interesting but the tea seemed expensive, but considered that the cost of the tea included the "free" tea ceremony cost so was more amenable. Would recommend this tour!

  My husband and I were on a very tight timetable, arriving in Beijing just before noon and leaving the next day. I hunted around for a private afternoon half day tour to the Great Wall and I finally found Tour-Beijing, which was one of the few tour companies with excellent reviews and reasonable prices. Booking the tour was painless and straightforward. Making payment of the deposit was easy. We arrived at our hotel only minutes before we were due to be picked up by Tour-Beijing and, despite the traffic, our guide Ha Ha and driver turned up bang on 1pm. The car was large and comfortable and the driver was excellent. Ha Ha did not feel the need to talk to us the whole way, which was fantastic and, on arrival, she organised our tickets quickly and efficiently. I must admit, I was expecting our visit to the Wall to be a "damp squib". I thought it would be heaving with other tourists and a real let down. In reality, it was absolutely incredible, the real highlight of our holiday to China. We took the cable car up to the Wall, Ha Ha walked with us part of the way and then left us to walk further on our own. We then re-joined Ha Ha and we all went down the mountainside on the toboggan. (NB Those who are over 70 were not allowed to go down by toboggan, so you may need to be economical with your age!) Once at the bottom, Ha Ha took us to a tea house for a short, free, tea tasting. Yes, the teas and china that were available to purchase were pricier than elsewhere, but we didn't mind, as it rounded off the afternoon nicely. We were then dropped back at our hotel, feeing thrilled with the whole experience. I can highly recommend this efficient and competitive company.

  The tour was amazing. Mary the tour organiser did an amazing job as we had to make some last minute requests. Wendy the tour guide had a great source of knowledge and was always very friendly. Our driver was also fantastic, accommodating our location needs.

  What an absolute fantastic experience. A clear winter afternoon going up the slope to admire a beautiful sunset on the mountains around the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Everything was perfect, starting from the airport pick up by our lovely guide Wendy, being driven in a comfortable car and enjoying an "almost private" visit. The cold of the late afternoon was not a deterrent but instead added a spark of magic with the snowy landscape. We completed the experience with traditional Chinese food and tea tasting. Back to the airport right on schedule for our connecting flight. Seamless

  We were picket up by our charming guide Angela at our hotel. Angela was eloquent and engaging and made the trip fun and interesting. At Angelas recommendation we took the chairlift which gave us a really nice view of the wall. We went on a Tuesday afternoon, there were almost no other tourists, so it seemed like we got the Great Wall almost to ourselves. The Great wall was a breathtaking experience! We got down using the car slide/toboggan. Overall an excellent trip!

  Today we did the half day wall tour. Jackie came for us at our hotel, perfectly on time. The drive to the wall was great, the driver drove very safely and Jackie told us so much already. He knows all about the wall, China and has an answer to every question asked. He helped us with other things as well, such as places to go and travel schedules. Very friendly, qualified men. China is pretty overwhelming for us and we couldn't have done it without him. Thank you very much!

  The half-day Tour to the Great Wall was perfect. Beautiful scenery both to and from. The 1-2 hours at the Great Wall was ample time to see, walk and experience this world wonder. Tour Guide, Jenny, was knowledgeable and pleasant. Nice to also have private driver. Highly recommend!

  It was an amazing experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. She filled us in on a lot of history we would never have known. The part of the wall we went to was not crowded and we had a great day. The ski lift up allowed us to take in gorgeous views and we took the toboggan ride down which was just fun.
