Batur Volcano Sunset trekking/Hiking is best choice for you to avoid wake up at midnight to do volcano trek. This trip will start at noon arround 13:00 o’clock, our professional driver will collect from your accomodations (depends on your locations) then he will drive you safely to Mount Batur trekking starting point.
Once you there your professional trekking guide will welcomed you with his smile. before the trek start, he/she will give you bottled water and walking stick. Starts of the journey we will walk in to Balinese holy temples, local farms, and scenic rain forest. Along the way to the top, our friendly guide will give you explaination about the volcano, local cultures and many more. After 2 hours trek, We'll arrived at the top. Here you will witness a stunning view of sunset. As you enjoy the view, your guide will cooks some banana or eggs in volcanic hot steam.

5.00Very fun but challenging hike. The distance is not long, but it's fairly sustained, steep, hiking - often on loose rocks/sand. Nothing technical or sketchy. Our guide, Made, was an absolute delight! She was super patient with us, and very friendly! Helped us practice our Indonesian :) Dinner at the top was much better than we expected, and included fruit, snacks, and a warm tea. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we didn't see much sunset, but it didn't detract from our experience. This tour started with a tour of a nearby coffee/tea plantation, which included a very generous, and delicious, coffee/tea tasting. Overall, a great experience and would strongly recommend.

5.00‘Made’ was our guide for the sunset tour on Mt Batur, and she was fantastic. We have two daughters (9 and 11), and she did a wonderful job guiding them — encouraging them to keep going and connecting with them throughout the hike. She was easy to communicate with and shared lots of interesting insights about the local culture and the area where she lives. We truly enjoyed the experience with her.

4.00Guide was excellent. He took care of our safety up Mt Batur . Despite having walking sticks to help with steep 2hr uphill climb it was at times slippery due to volcanic stones. Guide helped me get up & down slope (1hr) headlights were used going down slope. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but we had delicious boiled eggs cooked in steam in volcanic rocks & cooked bananas in bread. Water was provided as well. We practically had the mountain to ourselves- no bikes or jeeps roaring up mountain.

3.00Whislt the hike it's self was brilliant the coffee planation addition wasn't as enjoyable. The guide was a little short and didn't feel relaxed. Our driver Mawe was very fun and his English was very good. Our guide, a young 23yr old was super fit and climbs the mountain sometimes twice a day! Super fit. The eggs cooked in the volcanic steam were a great addition

5.00The overall experience was wonderful, but I would suggest it only to those who are physically fit and exercise regularly. The hike lasted approximately two hours uphill and two hours downhill, with no steps for the ascent, requiring physical strength to navigate. It was quite exhausting.

5.00Hiking Mount Batur is an absolute must while in Bali! It seems like it could be strenuous to wake up early and trek up the mountain in the morning hours while dark, but it was truly a wonderful experience. Down to the selection of the trail, it was a better experience because of the care from our guide. It goes without saying, you really can't understand how beautiful that sunrise is without seeing it firsthand. So worth the trek, and even with the bit of rain at the summit, it was just epic. Highly recommend this adventure to everyone :)

5.00Gede was a timely and communicative driver who made the experience very easy for us. Ketut was a great guide for the hike and showed us alternate routes, less busy places to sit before sunrise, and other spots on Mount Batur. Highly recommended!!!

5.00The organization (Mount Batur Sunset Trekking - All inclusive tour)was great. we were picked up at half past 2 in ubud & received a message in advance to confirm the time. with the driver we drove to the place where we did the hike. our guide was super nice & kept asking if we needed a break. we had a good hour until we arrived at the top & then a breakfast was cooked for us... everything was great! We would definitely do the tour again with you & can recommend it to everyone to do this tour.
