This is a private and in-depth historical tour of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.

A professional and knowledgeable tour guide will deeply analyzing the historical background of the era when the Terracotta Warriors were made, the political environment, the development of the social economy and law, as well as the military situation at that time.

During the visit to the three pits of the Terracotta Warriors, from the perspective of the science, technology and culture of the Qin Dynasty 2,200 years ago, the tour guide will lead you to appreciate the realistic sculptural art of the Terracotta Warriors. You can also learn more historical stories from the costumes of the Terracotta Warriors and the appearance of the archaeological site.

All entry tickets, golf car tickets, private English guide, hotel pickup and drop off, whole day private transfer are all included in this tour.

What To Expect

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

Your private guide or driver will meet you at the time you request on the booking page. It's about a one - hour drive to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. You will spend 3 hours exploring Pit 1, Pit 2, and Pit 3, learning about Qin Dynasty history and culture without any stops at tourist - related factories. After visiting the Terracotta Army, you will proceed to the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum and discover more new archaeological sites, such as the bronze chariots, civilian officers, and the Acrobats discovery site. Lunch at an authentic Xi'an local restaurant is optional. You can choose dishes like belt noodles or other local specialties, accompanied by local beer or soda for a break. Then, after a one - hour drive back to downtown, you can start your afternoon activities. (Costs are at your own expense.) NOTE: Please provide your passport information on the booking page for advance ticket pre - booking.

This was a surreal experience. It was such a humbling feeling, to visit such a deeply historical site. The terracotta soldiers, painstakingly restored over decades of work, was a sight to behold. Our guide, Joyce, was a sincerely passionate individual, with expert knowledge on the subject. Through her words, she painted a detailed tapestry of the story behind the exhibits, and drew us deep into the heritage and culture behind the physical displays on site.

Joyce, our tour guide, is friendly and very knowledgeable. Her command of the English language is excellent. She answers our questions enthusiastically and when unsure, she will double check before answering. She takes a lot of initiative in bringing us to a halal restaurant, which we really appreciate. A highly recommended tour guide. 💪🏼

From we met our guide until we finished our tour our guide joyce was absolutely brilliant! Brought the warriors to life with the details she provided and made it a very special tour which included a special gift to celebrate myself & wife’s 40th anniversary ! Ping’s tours are 2nd to none!

We had an amazing tour with Becky at the Terra-cotta Warriors exhibit The hotel pickup and drop off was excellent value, during the drive up Becky gave us interesting history of Xi’an and Shaanxi that provided great context when we arrived at the exhibit Once there, Becky navigated us through the exhibit with expert commentary and interesting facts. It was so enjoyable! On the way back Becky provided some wonderful restaurant recommendations for traditional Xi’an foods to try. We plan to come back and will contact Becky for more tours of the beautiful Xi’an area

It has been a pleasure working with this company. Cindy has reached out and organized everything so perfectly from my driver to my guide Rosa. She organized my train tickets sent me detailed guides on how to find my train and find my guides. The guide was knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Chinese history and held a very good conversation. When I ask the guy to bring me to a local place for lunch, she did not disappoint I wish I booked all of my excursions with this company

Incredibly exciting place, where you can both see excavated finds and that there are still digs. A great driver who helped find a guide on site and a place to eat afterwards just made it even better.

I had a wonderful experience visiting the Terracotta Warriors with Rosa as my guide. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the site’s history and significance. Rosa made the tour easy to follow and shared fascinating stories about the First Emperor and how the warriors were discovered.
