Tsukiji Fish Market
At Tsukiji Fish Market, travelers on my guided tour will immerse themselves in one of Tokyo's culinary and cultural hubs. Starting early to catch the vibrant morning auction, we'll witness the frenetic energy as wholesalers bid on the day's freshest catch. Exploring the outer market, we'll navigate bustling alleys lined with sushi stalls, seafood vendors, and specialty shops offering everything from kitchen knives to seaweed. You'll taste the freshest sushi and sashimi, prepared with ingredients sourced directly from the market. I'll share insights into seafood varieties, Japanese culinary traditions, and the market's history. Beyond food, we'll explore the local culture, interacting with vendors known for their expertise and dedication. This hands-on experience will deepen your appreciation for Japanese seafood and provide a glimpse into everyday life at Tokyo's iconic Tsukiji Fish Market.
Nakamise Shopping Street (Kaminarimon)
Nakamise Shopping Street, located at Kaminarimon in Asakusa, Japan, is a bustling thoroughfare steeped in history and cultural charm. Stretching from the iconic Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple, this centuries-old street is lined with traditional shops selling a wide array of souvenirs, snacks, and local specialties. Visitors can explore stalls offering everything from handmade crafts and kimono accessories to delectable treats like ningyo-yaki (doll-shaped cakes) and senbei (rice crackers). As you stroll along Nakamise-dori, you'll soak in the lively atmosphere, interact with friendly vendors, and immerse yourself in the vibrant sights and sounds of old Tokyo.

Communication was very bad, Fatima was really nice i honestly don’t think it’s her fault she arrived late. You basically meet up and walk around I was under the impression we would be driving around site seeing that wasn’t the case

Our private tour with Erica was amazing!! Definitely a highlight of our time in Japan. Our group was 4 adults and 2 children, and Erica showed us around Tokyo on our first day in town. We visited so many sights and Erica took photos for us the entire time. She also showed us how to get a transportation card and how to use it, which was a huge help. The day we spent with her was rainy and wet, but we still had so much fun exploring the various districts in Tokyo. Erica took us to two great places to eat, and showed us sights we wouldn't have seen on our own. During our time in Japan we had 4 private tours and Erica was unanimously our favorite tour guide! Thank you again :)

Nami was a wonderful and delightful guide. The tour was a walking tour which is unusual for me, but we walked approximately 5 miles.

Honestly this was the worst tour I’ve ever had. The guide was a very nice young man, but provided no useful explanations, context or insights. He simply moved me from point A to point B. Very disappointing experience.

My wife and I wanted to see Tokyo - walking as much as possible. Maruf was amazing. He met us at our hotel and planned a day of walking and subway transportation throughout the city. We saw many, many sites in our bucket list and Maruf was extremely flexible when we wanted to explore certain sites longer or skip some super long lines and move to the next part of our adventure. We have toured many international cities and I would rate Maruf and his itinerary among the best. Oh, and we walked 20,000 steps!
