Discover the ancient city of Corinth, where history and faith come together in a powerful way. Walk through the ruins of the agora, where the Apostle Paul once spoke to the people, and stand at the Bema—the very platform from which he addressed the Corinthians. Visit the Temple of Apollo, a striking reminder of the city’s pre-Christian heritage, and reflect on the contrast between ancient beliefs and Paul’s message. This tour offers a compelling insight into one of the most pivotal moments in the early spread of Christianity.

Isthmus of Corinth
Start the day at the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow land bridge that links mainland Greece to the Peloponnese. In antiquity, it marked the natural boundary between the two regions and held great strategic and symbolic significance. Since 1893, the impressive Corinth Canal has cut through the 6.3-kilometer-wide isthmus, transforming the Peloponnese into an island and offering a striking sight of steep limestone walls and clear blue waters. It's a perfect introduction to the engineering feats and layered history of the region.
The Diolkos
Just a short distance from the canal lies the ancient Diolkos, a remarkable feat of engineering that predates the canal by over two millennia. This stone-paved trackway allowed ancient ships to be hauled overland across the Isthmus of Corinth, saving them from the perilous journey around the Peloponnese. Walking along its remains offers a glimpse into the practical ingenuity of the ancient Greeks and how vital this shortcut was for trade and naval movement.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible experience with our guide George. I was traveling with my older mother, and he was so kind and attentive — helping her in and out of the car, making sure she was always comfortable, and even offering us cold water along the way. His communication was excellent, and he was punctual, professional, and a very safe driver. George’s knowledge of Greek history and culture was truly impressive. He answered every question we had with depth and passion, and shared stories and insights that gave us a whole new appreciation for Greece. He even took us to a few lesser-known spots we never would have discovered on our own — his perspective was so thoughtful and engaging. This tour was a highlight of our trip, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about George. If you’re traveling with a family member — especially someone older — this is the guide you want. Highly recommend!

My family and I just went on a private tour of Following the Footsteps of Apostle Paul with Russlan as our driver/guide. We very much enjoyed ourselves. The tour was terrific- we got sufficient information of the area and its significance to St. Paul, the latter which was important to me. Russlan was an excellent guide from the start. He texted me early on coordinating pickup from Piraeus port, then even picked us up earlier than planned when we got off the cruise ship early. He dropped us off at the airport afterwards. All on time and no delays. I highly recommend him as a guide and this tour. Time well spent!

This was one of our favorite tours of our trip. Nick was our guide and he was very personable and informative, answered all our questions, and was an excellent driver. On a practical note, the van was very clean and comfortable and Nick made sure we had ample restroom stops and places to refill our water bottles. The restaurant he recommended for lunch was delicious! The tour was well planned, even better than I had hoped for. The stops were beyond amazing and I would absolutely book with this company again. Highly recommend!
