Our driver was Ricardo. He arrived promptly at our hotel for morning pick-up. He expertly navigated the Palermo streets and traffic to get us on our way. He was very knowledgeable about Sicilian history and culture. We greatly enjoyed our trip.

We made two stops, Agrigento and Cefalù , we loved both places specially Cefalù , it took us longer than we expected to get to Palermo , but it was worth it.

It was a terrible experience. The driver was late. Packed us in like sardines. It appears he wasn’t well and was coughing the whole trip while using cough lozenges. Had we had our original luggage amount we would never of fit in the vehicle we brought That 6 medium luggage and 8 carry ons we sent to him in advance our trip would not have fit. We were lucky we altered our luggage sizes Although we had more pieces of luggage, we had only 2 medium and 1 large and 9 carry ons several bags. As result he was able stuff it all in the back to point he could not see out the back. A very unsafe approach. He also travelled at unsafe speed maxing up to 140 km at times. He wanted to get us to our destination and get rid of us as fast possible. There was no bottle of water offered. He snapped at one of us for having a cookie, screaming no food the car. Ultimately we really required a larger , we would appreciated the tour operator indicating that we were too many people for him to handle. Instead he packed us in for money. The 2 and 1/2 hour ride was most uncomfortable ride we ever had. Not to mention two our friends develop a cough the next day and have been sick since.

Martino was on time to meet my group of 6 girlfriends and drove us very safely all the way from Palermo to Catania, even sharing some essential tips about Catania on the way. We requested an extension to our short stopover in Cefalu and Martino was very good about letting us know there would be an extra cost involved, which we were happy to pay. All in all, we were very satisfied with the service provided.

We were two couples staying in Europe for 3 weeks so even though we had one piece of luggage and a carry on each, it was heavy. I can’t imagine dragging it to a train or bus station, on and off the train, to a taxi and then to the hotel. Our driver, Richard was 15 minutes early and took care of all our luggage. His English was very good and he was very personable with us. We all appreciated how well he took care of us. He had a lovely Mercedes Van and dressed in a white dress shirt and tie. Everything we could have asked for. An excellent experience!
