The tour start with the Pick up in your accommodation aboard a luxury mercedes v class minivan with an english speaking driver.

From there you will continue towards Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, you will arrive at the Sapienza refuge at 2000m, from there you will visit the Silvestri Craters with a short and easy trek, then you can decide whether to take the cable car up to 2900m at an extra cost of 80 euros per person with a duration of about 2.30h. Afterwards you will continue with the driver towards Oro d'Etna, the home of honey and you will see the lava flow of 1992. The tour continues at the winery, where you will have a wine tasting & light lunch. Finally the driver will take you back to the pick up point. Sergio will stay with you throughout the tour and will tell you about our beloved land, Sicily

Our guide Sergio was amazing! We couldn’t make it up the mountain but he made it an amazing day! The wine tasting and honey stop were fabulous!

While on our honeymoon, Sergio guided us to Mt. Etna and two wineries (one more well known, the other one more secluded). He had fantastic energy and was incredibly informative on the tour. I can't recommend Sergio enough and will recommend they NEED to book this tour if visiting Taormina or nearby towns.

Sergio was fantastic as a driver and tour guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, and engaging. The drive up to Mt Etna is incredible with so much to see. The morning spent exploring the towns around Etna and Etna was an amazing experience. The afternoon visiting the wineries and vineyards was a great way to wrap the whole experience.

If you're reading this then you've probably read other reviews of this experience and you know Sergio is an amazing guide, the sights, sounds and smells of this excursion are wonderful and you will enjoy every moment. So stop reading and book it!! Sergio is truly special; like that relative you always love to see but don't see often enough. At the end of this tour, you'll wish he was a relative. Have fun!
