  I may be naive when it comes to booking tours, as I’ve never really used this app before. Im a solo traveler who was really looking forward to this pub crawl. I arrived at Prik, the first bar on the crawl just before 7pm. I asked a couple of the patrons at the bar, and staff members also if they were aware of a pub crawl taking place. Two staff members said they’d never heard of this event before, which I thought was odd! I tried to contact the tour company via the chat function on this app to let them know I arrived but i didn’t (and still haven’t) get any reply from them! I wouldn’t have minded but I did pay the €25 before hand, so i politely asked about a refund but got no reply. Definitely don’t book the VIP option ! I don’t want to slander the company and tour by calling it a scam, but I am left short €25 and a bit sour after the experience as I was really looking forward to it 💔. I’ve used other booking sites and done other tours, and previously they have reached out prior to the tour for confirmation. This didn’t happen here, so i suppose it was the first warning sign/red flag! The gay bars are cute in Amsterdam though and staff are lovely. Maybe I’ll start my own pub crawl here

  We did the gay bar crawl (couldn’t find it in the drop menu). The tour guide (Stan) was very nice but unfortunately quite new to the tour. He seemed a bit lost at times and the tour didn’t really go the way it was advertised online. Most of the points that we saw online that seemed to justify the (quite high) price were not fulfilled. There was no private room in the irish pub, we got no drink discounts and we didn’t make it to all the stops. Don’t get us wrong, he was very engaged and tried his best to make the tour enjoyable and we had a nice time with our new friend after the tour too. Unfortunately the group was also quite small. To make it worth the price the tour needs to be more organised and fulfill the promised aspects though. It was a nice evening, just not what we expected.

  I kept waiting at meeting point and they never reverted for so long , they changed the meeting point and mixed me with the regular pub crawl with German folks who dint understand English ! Very unprofessional .

  got recomended by a friend as i wanted to take visitors on a tour ! was a great time, very personable, causal and comfotable and friends loved it ! was great to also get to know Amsterdam Rainbow sence more! (even being a local i learn a lot i did not have a clue about) Thanks do much Erik! would recomend and use again :-) in fact will take my team on one of the other walks as a team afternoon day. :-)

  We never actually had our experience. The .meeting place was within a block party organized by the bar we were supposed to meet at. We arrived at the site with plenty of time for the event and tried to enter....but there was an extremely long line and we realized we would not make it inside in time to meet for the e ent...there was still a line of over 50 people. No response from the event leader....it seems they would ha e had local knowledge and changed plans/meeting place.

  Had a nice time on this tour, Manny the tour guide dressed in drag for the occasion and had lots of interesting bits of history about amsterdam and gay life. It could have had more stops perhaps but some of the bars we didn’t make it too were very crowded anyway.

  With little expectations I booked the gay bar crawl tour and was amazed by the welcoming and charming personality of the guide. He knows all the to go places and will make you laugh with his stories . I had a great time and I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have an amazing time while in Amsterdam.
