During the tour, your personal guide explains everything you want to know about the mystical world of diamonds. He or she will tell you about the origins of the diamonds and the process a diamond goes through. This diamond process takes millions of years. Learn how to evaluate a diamond with the 4 C's (carat, cut, clarity, color) of diamond valuation. There is so much more to know and appreciate about a diamond than just the sparkle. You will be surprised. Besides seeing amazing diamond jewelry and Europe's largest collection of unset diamonds, you will also see the Royal 201 diamond. This is Royal Coster's own patented diamond cut and known to be the best diamond in the world. A regular brilliant has 57 facets, while this unique diamond cut has no less than 201 facets. These extra facets cause to make the light reflect even more within the diamond. This creates a sparkling effect that is no match for any other diamond shape in the world.

5.00We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Staff were very accommodating as we had booked our tour for 1.30pm and they managed to get us a tour guide although we were several hours early. Simon was very informative and knowledgeable and witty. He made us feel like royalty and we had complimentary coffees and treats... the diamond displays were exquisite. This was a once in a lifetime experience and would highly recommend. The hostess , from Ukraine. was very helpful and friendly organising our early tour. Coster certainly have their customer service down to a fine art. Very enjoyable

5.00I got in contact with Royal Coster Diamonds since one of my hobbies is collecting loose diamonds and gemstones. I know a lot about diamonds, the diamond trade, diamond cutting etc. On advice I booked the Royal Experience Private Tour. After the tour I spend even more time in the different showrooms with the friendly, competent and hospitable staff memember. I highly recommend this tour. The gift bag you will receive is really brilliant.

5.00We visited out of pure interest, not to buy any diamonds. We were shown around by a lovely knowledgeable gentleman who was not only too happy to answer all of our (sometimes silly) questions but provided us with a thorough explanation of the diamond cutting process. It was fascinating to see all the diamonds whilst learning why their own cut is considered one of the best in the world. There were opportunities to select and buy diamonds and have them made into jewellery if you wished and when I’m next looking for a special item of jewellery I would definitely return.

5.00We made reservations before we arrived in Amsterdam for this tour. Mae was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. At the end of the tour we wanted to buy a couple things. We were seated in a room just off the main show room and offered something to drink(including champagne). Nareerat, the manager, showed us diamond earrings from the showroom. We enquired about buying loose diamonds so we could get the quality we wanted. We were very pleasantly surprised when several loose diamonds were sent to our room. Quality and clarity of each diamond was reviewed with us as was the qualities of the settings. There was absolutely no pressure to the sale. The stones were set and returned to us within 20 minutes. They are gorgeous!! My husband had them show us Diamond rings also. They showed us several rings and I chose a beautiful 5 Diamond ring with perfect color and clarity. They sized it up my ring within 15 minutes. We received certificates including cut, clarity and color. Fantastic activity in Amsterdam! Highly recommended!
