We booked this tour of our hotel and paid 2450,- NAD (about 120€) per person. Similar tours are sometimes offered much more expensively, but instead I would recommend the offer of iventures. The execution was professional. We were picked up from the hotel in Swakop about 11:30 and the tour started from Walvis Bay about 1pm. Our driver/guide was Louwrence, whose calm manner was sympathetic to me. After the flamingola lagoon and a seawater desalination plant, the actual interesting part of the tour began. A kind of beach safari along the skeleton coast, where we saw several (partly live) seals and seals, as well as a humpback whale jumping out of the sea several times. Back we went straight through the dunes with spectacular rides similar to a roller coaster ride. Impressive driving skills. At the end there was a picnic that almost replaced dinner. This and the drinks during the excursion were included. Back we were between 7pm and 8pm, so the whole tour was much longer than we thought. Anyone who is in the area should have made this tour and for that I can recommend iventures.
