  • The trip was a lot...

The trip was a lot shorter than expected - only 2.5 hours. It would have been longer if we had paid extra to go into the museum or gone for a coffee etc but we expected the tour to be planned so that it took at least 4 hours. The guide was very good and provided a lot of information. There just wasn’t that much to see. Plus, he had another booking to get back to which meant we couldn’t have had much longer even if we had wanted it.

A nice trip and our driver gave us a lot of information and we saw a lot. We were also able to influence the route and length of stay.

Highly recommend this trip ,Annis was a tremendous guide, very knowledgeable and informative. He made sure we enjoyed our trip, we had plenty of time for coffee and shopping for souvenirs as well as looking around the town and seeing the sights. Not having to Walvis Bay and Swakamund before we really enjoyed the day... I also would like to commend Viator for the communication they have provided for these trips that we have done ,with coping with all the changes from our itinerary. We really appreciate their understanding with all the changes

Our tour guide Hannes was very informative and happy to accommodate any attractions that we wanted to see. He was also happy to stop if we needed anything to take back to the ship

They left early without 2 couples. Left us in hot sun for 2 hours. Then put us on short tour to somewhere else as compensation! More went wrong but I waited 1 month before writing this review as I didn't want to be too harsh.

Very interesting city with much German influence and tour guide knew where the places of interest were. If we had been on our own we would have never found most of them

  • Tour time shorter than stated, guide inexperienced

Tour was supposed to last from 10am to 3pm according to the ticket but were simply dropped off at 2am and taken over by another driver and driven to the ship. Guide was inexperienced and from the prescribed tour we had not seen Dune 7 and Walvis Bay with the Pelicans at all. Are practised the abrupt end of the tour very disappointed and felt it was a kick-out.
