Rafael was such a fun tour guide. He definitely kept everyone energetic and happy with his music and stories about the history of Valparaiso/Viña Del Mar. We got to see so many different things and the restaurant by the beach was great. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Chile!!

While Valparaiso is very pretty and happy I was able to tour, I didn't really like the tour company I used. Maybe it’s the same for all tour companies but not sure why we had to be picked up at 6:30 AM. We didn’t get to have breakfast at the hotel and had to buy over priced crappy food at a very touristy spot, very ridiculous! Originally we were supposed to get picked up at 7:30 AM and cleared we were getting picked up 6:30 instead at 8:30 PM the night before, we had to water no food, seeing places were very rushed except when we were taken to a very expensive restaurant by the beach with limited menu. Just a bit of advise, if we’re paying for our own lunch, we should have a choice of where to eat, not have to pay $25-$30 for a meal.

We had a good time on the tour seeing unique places. Our guide Bastian was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had to speak three languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese) and did it great. Also, he had a surprise stop at the end of the tour which was cool!

Christopher was excellent and worked with us adapting the tour to our preferences and timing. The Driver (Luz so?) was great made things work with our timing and avoided an annual event which closes highways and streets. Highlights were interesting. Valparaiso is beautiful if you like art of all kinds particular “street style.”
