  • Private tour of the city...

Private tour of the city with a driver and English speaking guide. Unfortunately my husband was not well and couldn’t come with me so I had the wonderful tour guide, Vanessa all for myself. The driver Rafael was a careful and great driver and dropped us by the entrance to the municipal park where we took a funicular to the top of the hill. We spent the time admiring the beautiful view of the city. Then we visited a various spots of the city. Vanessa gave me excellent explanations of the places we visited. I highly recommend this tour if you only have a limited time to spend. Santiago is a big and beautiful city. We were so fortunate to have found this tour company which was so accommodating to my requests. Thank you Alvaro and your team to make our stay so wonderful.

Great experience! Both the driver and the guide were fantastic! JP was really informative and had a great sense of humor. You get to spend a good amount of time on San Cristobal Hill with magnificent views of the city (you will take funicular up and then a cable car down). The other stops are fun too! If you plan to have lunch or dinner afterward, you could see if they can drop you off near Bellavista or Barrio Lastarria, both neighborhoods have lots of good dining options.

We had a wonderful, guide Juan Pablo Cañete. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Our tour was excellent and the level of service impeccable. His dinner recommendation of Coco’s was spot on. Amazing seafood. Thank you Viatour for putting us in touch with Juan Pablo!

Vanessa’s Santiago tour was fantastic! She brought the city’s history to life as we explored both old and modern quarters. Stunning panoramic views, smooth cable car rides, and a funicular journey added excitement. A perfect mix of culture, scenery, and local insights—highly recommended!

Juan Pablo made my first day in Chile memorable. He is extremely knowledgeable about history, society, art and architecture, but always keeps the conversation natural and comfortable. Despite heavy traffic and a looming strike, our half-day excursion went very smoothly. Highly recommended.
