Enjoyed a live narrated walk (thank you James!) starting at the re-opened park vista near the Pike Place Market, down the new hill climb walkway to the also new Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavillion. While so much is new and changed (amazing planter boxes filled with lush well tended plantings) we were shown old photos of what was (while looking at it today) and to see and learn about the rich history. Was truly a delightful way to spend a couple of hours in the fresh air in the new Seattle waterfront park.

We had a fun and delightful walking tour with James of Global Family Travels in July beginning near the Pike Place Market and ending near the ferry terminal. It was a wonderful way to explore Seattle’s waterfront - new and old. James was an enthusiastic tour guide sharing interesting facts and amazing stories that bring this fascinating part of the city to life.

I was excited to check out Seattle's new Waterfront Park and learn all about the indigenous connection to the land and people who call Seattle home. There were spots on the tour that I would have just walked past unbeknownst to the unguided eye, so I really appreciated the knowledge shared by our wonderful and passionate guide. I now see the waterfront in an entirely new way!
